Hmm. That's a very interesting issue but thank you for showing it! I'll be sure to keep as many slip rings on hand as I do well starter boxes (aka a LOT on hand). Glad to know they're relatively cheap to get too. Keep up the good work!
My i1500 was particularly bad about wobbling, but it's because the bolts slipped loose where it's secured to the tower. I never could find proper pipe to fit the iSta Breeze stub in the USA so it always had wiggle room, and if there's room to wiggle wiggling will commence.
do you know of anywere one can get a good quality slipring in the i1500 dimentions?? i know that very good sliprings are made for industrial purposes, ,,you give lots of good data and insight when dealing with turbines so i aint going anywere
Unfortunately they're mostly all about the same. I'm sure there are some quality differences here and there but I'm not sure how to spot them. Most of these turbines have very tight working space that makes it difficult to get a big slip ring installed. Funnily enough the biggest slip rights I've seen are in the small generic Chinese turbines, but they won't easily integrate into the larger turbines.

Hyped to see you back at it man
My istabreeze i2000 is wiggling right where the slip ring is, looks like a broken bearing, this video very helpful to see how to fix mine, thanks
