I thought this was going to be another one of those stupid christmas comedy's about a family that doesn't get along but then WHAM! Horror movie! In fact, not just a horror movie, but a good old-fashioned monster movie to boot.
Yes, a potentially perfect horror movie at last. Directed by Michael Dougherty, the same person who made Trick 'R Treat. Perfect isolationist survival atmosphere. Perfect cast. Very clean and professional looking. Lots of people to kill off. Krampus looks awesome. The other monsters look awesome. Not a single bad thing to say about it so far.
I've been waiting for so long to have something about the Krampus! Glad to know they're bringing it up! Hopefully it becomes more popular and other directors and writers create more stories involving him!
This movie surprisingly really good. It's Christmas movie with dark/horror genre.Has a good storyline and characters. Totally recommend people to watch it.
+MAXZONE47 Krampus is an old German Folklore. It was talked about /long/ before Gremlins. It's pretty much the opposite of Santa. While Santa would give treats to the good children, Krampus would put the children in his sack and take them away. It was to scare the children into being good so they weren't kidnapped and murdered by an evil Santa.
This movie looks insanely fun! Instead of being limited to just one creature, there seems to be lots of variety with the toys and whatnot. Just lots of opportunity for some fresh fright! I am looking forward to this.
Plot Twist: The gramma is actually Krampus' sister and their working together in secret than Santa shows up at the end of the movie with a gun and kills them both.
I love the moment when she says "Saint Nicolas is not coming this year" and then everything gets darker and you see the hook from the fireplace and aaaah I love dark, Christmas films!!! 🎄🎄🎄
It was a great movie. Not super scary, but the evil helpers were creepy enough. The jack n the box was pure nightmare fuel. It was like Gremlins, but a little more darker.
+ConcreteSurfer420 No doubt am I more excited for *Star Wars*.. but I'm almost just as excited for this... and *Krampus* definitely would be better to watch *on Christmas day*..
Krampus is part of my culture, I remember that for Saint Nicholas' day (we celebrate it on Dec. 6th) Saint Nick would always come with presents for the good kids and Krampus would tag along and scare you as you walked to were Saint Nick was sitting. I was always terrified.
no hes not, krampus is an old german folklore. we all know and love saint nick and he gives gifts to the good, well if your bad krampus comes kidnaps you and beats with a birch rod until you learn your lesson
Zachary Gilbert I Know It's A Horror Movie But A Lot Of People Thinks It's A Comedy Movie Too I Don't Understand It Because I Don't Think It Was Funny Too Me It's More Scary Then A Comedy That's Just My Opinion
My mom said I can't tell my lil sister that Santa isn't real because it would ruin her holiday spirit and innocents but she can see this trailer on tv and run to my mom crying asking her about this and mom says it's not real 😒 none of it is real lol
The storyline for this seems so good but they've ruined it with cheap gimmicks and bad script writing. Disappointing. Especially because Toni Collette is such a brilliant actress; bad move there.
+MarrowsAreCool You can't tell if the movie suffers from bad script-writing from the trailer. Trust me, we all like to criticize movies by their trailer, me especially. You can have small first thoughts, but that's pretty much it.
I hope this will be a bit like Gremlins. It's so weird, there are a lot of actors in it who are normally only in comedies, so I did not expect the trailer to turn out as it did. I loved it!
So glad they're finally making this; with such an old mythical figure, you'd think some horror director would have mined the potential by now, but I guess it took the plastic age of camera cell phones and pre packaged hate crimes to bring back old Kramp....give'em hell!
looks interesting. I love Adam Scott from his work in Parks and Rec, also this movie looks like a pretty cool mix of comedy, drama, and horror. I'll probably see it ^__^
Looks silly, but I must say the visual effects on the monsters look amazing! Krampus look amazing and this minions look amazing, including the toys that come to life. They look like animatronics though I could be wrong, either way they look so realistic!
OH!OH!OH! And you know when Krampus left that jack in the box thing welp she could have run or something (at 02:04-02:08) instead of waiting under the car and being exploded into pieces w/the car!
+Jennifer ΛηιΜεΜαηGαЯεÐDrαωεr lol plot twist what if krampus is justin beiber would you be scared by looking at it I will be dead if I saw that face (soz beliebers)
As soon as he threw that paper out the window and the music stopped I was like.... Ok...... Maybe this isn't going to be a Christmas comedy like I thought!? Lol
When I saw the "Krampus" title was not expecting to see so many recognizable actors in this movie. I already know the tales of Krampus so I was expecting the typical b-movie cast. Not that Toni Collette, Adam Scott, and David Koechner are exactly A-list celebrities, but they are known to star in bigger movies, typically comedies. This film is listed as a black-comedy though so maybe there will be some good laughs..... which actually kind of upsets me because I think the Krampus character needs to be a full blown horror flick. We shall see though. Definitely will wait to rent this though on demand. Can't see myself blowing $20+ to go see it in theaters when you include nachos and a drink.
Its 2021 and I'm still watching this as part of my Christmas tradition.
I really enjoyed this movie and cast! Well done!
Same
@@Dani-xt2wx merry Christmas family 🎉
I thought this was going to be another one of those stupid christmas comedy's about a family that doesn't get along but then WHAM! Horror movie! In fact, not just a horror movie, but a good old-fashioned monster movie to boot.
Pretty obvious it was a horror movie from the thumbnail...

+Fun haus No its based on old Germanic Folklore.
+Fun haus I don't know why but my comment showed up twice, just ignore the second one.

Very clean and professional looking. Lots of people to kill off. Krampus looks awesome. The other monsters look awesome. Not a single bad thing to say about it so far.
In my opinion this movie was actually pretty good and hilarious. I don't know why people hate it so much.
i love it
Juan Martinez I use to hate it cause it ruined my Christmas cause the trailer just scared the balls out of me
Juan Martinez I loved it

+The Greatest Mario Gamer that's what I thought at first too
It would be awesome if they made a home alone with krampus
OK, well....that's not the sequel to "Christmas With the Kranks" that I thought it was going to be.....LOL.
I thought the same when I saw this trailer in the theaters last night when I saw The Visit. 😂😂😂
I bet you the grandma is behind this
+TeaChan RBLX he summoned Grinch older brother that's trying to show Grinch how it's really done.
Lol
I bet you the grandma is Krampus. That's why she knows so much about him. XD
The Visit confirmed!
I searched up Krampus...... better be good this Christmas....
Is Stan's dad still Krampus.
yup
Yep
that is correct
Lmao 😂
hahahaha love it!
Thought it was gonna be a comedy 😑
lol right the begining made it seem like that then i just got the chills
+Oliver Simpson ???
+Oliver Simpson It still is, it's most likely a dark comedy, like "Trick 'r' Treat.
+MMMStudios1000 Lol same director
+Oliver Simpson it is a comedy
I've been waiting for so long to have something about the Krampus! Glad to know they're bringing it up! Hopefully it becomes more popular and other directors and writers create more stories involving him!
"looks like Martha Stewart threw up in here."
I'm watching this omg
bruh shut up
Shut up
Plenty of leftovers- beer it is
This movie surprisingly really good. It's Christmas movie with dark/horror genre.Has a good storyline and characters. Totally recommend people to watch it.
This movie was amazing. I enjoyed it so much, that I'm watching it again, and buying it, as soon as it comes out!
Why do people dislike this movie so much? I think the horror and comedic elements mixed very well. I loved it!
So it's like "Gremlins" with the mix of comedy and horror?
+MAXZONE47 I thought the same thing when I saw the look of this Krampus and his minions. Could be worth the time though.
+MAXZONE47 or evil dead or cabin in the woods or reanimator
+MAXZONE47 Krampus is an old German Folklore. It was talked about /long/ before Gremlins. It's pretty much the opposite of Santa. While Santa would give treats to the good children, Krampus would put the children in his sack and take them away. +Ric Flair
I'd say more Evil Dead
+Extra Life Gaming
Christmast Devil.
This actually looks pretty good
This was actually a really good movie. I went to the premiere of it. Many plot twists, jump scares, and a great story line!

My heritage on the big screen. Ah, Krampus, you'll make this year so wonderful.
This movie looks insanely fun! Instead of being limited to just one creature, there seems to be lots of variety with the toys and whatnot. Just lots of opportunity for some fresh fright! I am looking forward to this.
+Dalton Vaughn it comedy
Plot Twist:
The gramma is actually Krampus' sister and their working together in secret than Santa shows up at the end of the movie with a gun and kills them both.
+Ziggy85 “Ziggmanster” Gaming Not the kind of plot twist I would have in mind.
+Ziggy85 “Ziggmanster” Gaming soooo like The Visit meets Krampus?
+Ziggy85 “Ziggmanster” Gaming thats more of a slasher movie twist than a ghost story
+Dr.Pingas pingas Bayern!!!!
The grandma had encountered Krampus once before in her life, and she probably anticipated that she would be taken away by him.
Wonderful, shocking, heart warming
and a very very good ending.
its a really well developed movie
9/10
Such a great movie! Hopefully it comes out in DVD soon!
What a perfect movie to watch with the family on Christmas day.
Even if the movie isn't that good, I hope they start incorporating more of him in other films and shows!
I love the moment when she says "Saint Nicolas is not coming this year" and then everything gets darker and you see the hook from the fireplace and aaaah I love dark, Christmas films!!! 🎄🎄🎄
Ive been waiting years for a horror christmas movie!!
this movie scared the crap outta me, i watched it last night and oh my god
For a horror movie, this gets pretty funny and heart-warming at times. But the minions are still fucking creepy. Especially the clown thing.
I watched the movie and it was pretty awesome :-)

Amazing Boy Gamer 1234 it was actually real. Krampus trapped them in a snow globe as a punishment
Watched this yesterday and nearly died in my seat bc of the movie. Still a great movie
I'm praying this turns out well...I would love to see a good horror movie. They're so rare now-a-days...
It was a great movie. Not super scary, but the evil helpers were creepy enough. The jack n the box was pure nightmare fuel. It was like Gremlins, but a little more darker.
Star What? I wanna see this at Christmas
Fuck yeah!
+ConcreteSurfer420 Hehehehe. :)
+ConcreteSurfer420 You and me both, man, you and me both.
+ConcreteSurfer420 No doubt am I more excited for *Star Wars*.. but I'm almost just as excited for this... and *Krampus* definitely would be better to watch *on Christmas day*..

Gotta love how Burta is in this movie. She's instantly my favorite character.

This movie has so much potential to be good.
Krampus is part of my culture, I remember that for Saint Nicholas' day (we celebrate it on Dec. 6th) Saint Nick would always come with presents for the good kids and Krampus would tag along and scare you as you walked to were Saint Nick was sitting. I was always terrified.

Katquinn its a comedy...
Katquinn What So Funny About It,

Zachary Gilbert I Know It's A Horror Movie But A Lot Of People Thinks It's A Comedy Movie Too I Don't Understand It Because I Don't Think It Was Funny Too Me It's More Scary Then A Comedy That's Just My Opinion

I loved this movie so much! I want it on DVD for Christmas.
My mom said I can't tell my lil sister that Santa isn't real because it would ruin her holiday spirit and innocents but she can see this trailer on tv and run to my mom crying asking her about this and mom says it's not real 😒 none of it is real lol
Why do you want to ruin it for your sister?

+jimora16 Santa is real. I am 16 years old and I believe
+Anselmo Sedillo 💀💀💀
+jimora16 I'm 14 & I believe in santa
The storyline for this seems so good but they've ruined it with cheap gimmicks and bad script writing. Disappointing. Especially because Toni Collette is such a brilliant actress; bad move there.
It hasnt even aired yet
+creon potier I know, this is what I'm getting from the trailer
+MarrowsAreCool how can you possible tell what the scriptwriting is like from the trailer? Only a dozen or so words are spoken!
+MarrowsAreCool You can't tell if the movie suffers from bad script-writing from the trailer.
Trust me, we all like to criticize movies by their trailer, me especially. You can have small first thoughts, but that's pretty much it.
+MarrowsAreCool I agree. the trailer was poorly created. It came off like a "Scary Movie" movie. Almost like a joke or parody.
im so happy theyre finally making a krampus movie!!!!!!
Favorite Christmas movie of all time
American Dad
no
+tourettes guy yes
BashyGames this is not a copy
+tourettes guy I didn't say it was?

Nothing better than a horror movie during the holidays! and it looks amazing, hope its close to the actual German story.
this movie was amazing I loved it wish there were more movies like this !!!
I hope this will be a bit like Gremlins. It's so weird, there are a lot of actors in it who are normally only in comedies, so I did not expect the trailer to turn out as it did. I loved it!
Such a great movie. like the horror comedies from the 80's.
I'm actually excited for this movie , there hasn't been a Christmas horror movie in a while .

This movie is crazy and I have no idea how to explain to my friends but I don't regret watching it
So glad they're finally making this; with such an old mythical figure, you'd think some horror director would have mined the potential by now, but I guess it took the plastic age of camera cell phones and pre packaged hate crimes to bring back old Kramp....give'em hell!
looks interesting. I love Adam Scott from his work in Parks and Rec, also this movie looks like a pretty cool mix of comedy, drama, and horror. I'll probably see it ^__^

Trailer starts nice a jolly then gets dark and scary I love that
As soon as he threw that paper out the window and the music stopped I was like.... Ok...... Maybe this isn't going to be a Christmas comedy like I thought!? Lol
"You gotta help us. Satan's coming to town."
"Hmmmmmm..... Santa's coming to town? Hihihihehehehehehe"
I saw this movie! It was very good. I scared my nephew with it and he cried and said “I BELIEVE" 🎅🏻
Best Christmas movie ever!
As someone who despises Christmas, this makes me so excited.
Omg is that Berta from 2 and a half man. Damn i love her 😂😂😂
When the Krampus trailer plays as an ad at 12:00 am, and it's dark, and there's no skip button
Looking foward to seeing this
When I saw the "Krampus" title was not expecting to see so many recognizable actors in this movie. I already know the tales of Krampus so I was expecting the typical b-movie cast.
