It’s been about a year since I got the Wouxun KG-905G handheld GMRS radio. Over the last 12 months, I’ve put this radio through its paces in all sorts of locations, conditions, and environments. So, the big question is, how has it held up? In today’s review, I’ll discuss its specs and features, pros and cons, and explain how I’ve used it out in the field. I’ll also give you some tips and insights into why a portable GMRS radio is a must-have for overlanding and other outdoor adventures!

From my Experience. I tried just about every radio and the Wouxun put out more watts than advertised and sounded better. The Baufangs are junk. I didn't know how bad they were until I purchased a Wouxun
