This woodworking project took about 3 days of work to complete, with the bench seating install taking about an hour. As you can see, I am happy with how this built in bench seating project came together.

THE REASON I AM DOING THIS:
In my agreement with any company I produce videos for, I retain the right to post the video on my channel one year after it is originally published on theirs.
I'll post as many videos as I have.. so check each Thursday!
thank you! Enjoy, Like, share , subscribe!
Love and respect! Jimmy - Jak na to + styl
Why would anyone bother putting a thumbs down.. If you watched this and didn't learn or enjoy it. Then your life is an empty vessel
I don't have a workshop yet, but have been watching your videos for a about 5-6 years. I am inspired by your work.
Cheers Jimmy - probably the third or fourth time I've sen this, but I absolutely DO learn something every time.
still absolutely love the diresta's cut videos. enjoy the commentary through each process.
Every day learning something new. Thanks Jimmy
Jimmy I love you bro. Someone's asking me to make them one of these and you are once again providing so much useful knowledge
Love to see how these things go together. Appreciate your explanations as well.
I usually never know which part of anything you've just made till it all comes together, but the reveal is why I watch.
The first time I saw this I picked up enough tips to try and make my own version of this for my living room. Thanks man, for all the inspiration, this will be a project video for the winter.
it's amazing you only made this in 3 days, it would take me 3 months to cut, pre-drill holes triple check measurements, make sure my pocket holes are the right size and the right place, waiting for glue to dry, primer to dry, paint to dry...
Yes that's based on my current project...
Jimmy, you are so in your game. Thank you for sharing your project.
Как всегда, превосходно! Уверен, Джимми, через сто лет твои изделия будут считаться брэндовым антиквариатом и стоить больших денег.
16:18 - It's always embarrassing when that happens. Can totally ruin a first date.
Thank You Jimmy, I appreciate the way you share your stuff with us!Jerry
Hardwood corners... beautiful, and functional addition. I'm definitely stealing this idea in the future. Great Job Jimmy.
I must admit I’ve skipped a couple of your latest silent videos, but with your commentary I’m back baby! Great job, impressive result for 3days and one hour :)
I really am a big fan of the commentary Jimmy.
Thanks
Certainly a lovely piece. You can't beat bespoke-fitted :)
It feels good looking at it. Just lovely and very welcoming for the owner to sit on
Gorgeous. Simple, functional and a perfect fit. Can't ask for more.
Nice piece . Love when it all comes together perfect ! Thank you Jimmy .
The engineering is the most impressive part for me, I really makes me appreciate your work that much more!
That was amazing!!! I’m a home improvement contractor and I’ve learned a lot from watching your videos. So I just wanted to say thank you for the content you provide for us users. I also like the different varieties of projects you do. It is great content for anyone. Amazing work and thank you for helping me!!
Good to see Willy. He looks well. Great job on the cabinet, too.

You the man, Jimmy!

Looks great! I just built something similar in my house. it was a fun project and I really enjoyed finding ways to fit everything.
Kreg clamps are really worth a trip. No movement.
Nice work jimmy
Great video tutorial and will have to try building a seat like this. Thank you for the inspiration.
Artist at work
Nicely done! A good way to not waste space.
Phenomenal build!
Always learn something with your videos
great job there jimmy
We love you Jimmy
tres beau travail bravo Jimmy
Cool sir. Good job.
love the narration!
Great job Jimmy. I wish I had a nice big interior corner to do something like that.
Learned something new today, let the glue set up a bit before driving in the screws. Thank you
If you dont have time for glue to set up, I've had luck drilling the pocket hole a little deeper until the drill just barely pokes through the end grain.
Ditto. I have a Kreg pocket-hole jig sat in a drawer in my workshop. I've used it to drill maybe 50 holes. Never liked the results and the fact the wood shifted so it got relegated to the bottom of a drawer and forgotten about. I'm going to try the "let the glue set up a bit" trick again to see how that works for me. Still not a fan of pocket-hole joinery, but willing to give it a try if it speeds up certain parts of the workflow.
As an insurance adjuster, it is always fascinating to see how the things we estimate actually get made. They go from being codes in a software to a real thing people use every day.
nice work as always
This was awesome
I really enjoy watching your videos Jimmy! I am having some serious Deja-vu on this one. Either this is an old one that I saw years ago, or you have started to look younger! Give me whatever you are drinking!
Enjoyed that.
Nice work!
Thanks Jimmy!!!
Learned a lot, good content and very interesting in the way you made it modular
Great job
You doing okay Jimmy? Sound tired (knowing you, you probably edited this at 3:00am). Awesome as always.

Thanks for showing me how crappy my banquet seating is. Appreciate that ...
Would love to see a video on drawing in 3D! You make it look So Easy!
I miss the old Jimmy, who didn't talk! Kidding. Great drawing and great work! I can't believe I will finally meet the God father of You Tube.
Jimmy used to talk in his older videos, but then it became a patreon only thing

Hi Jimmy, miss a little bit the old shop with spike ;)
Nice job Jimmy.
How are you doing?
I am 2:52 into the video and wondered: This looks like it was recorded in the basement shop in nyc. Must be old footage. Look in the discription: from 2016. :D
Muito bom para um presente a amigo... mas não precisavam joga no chão....
браво
very nice Job Mr. Diresta :-) ...is this your old Shop in NewYork? Cheers from Austria
Thanks I'm just about to try to build something similar (storage bed for a shepherds hut) although I suspect it will be rather agricultural compared to this piece.
i also always corner them before screwing them
We have had this bench czcams.com/users/postUgkxNuLbiXpLQ-mKH5NlyjrNe88hiCk2N3Cg for five years now and it is still holding up strong with minimal signs of wear! So much so that I decided to get another one to store other stuff. The first one is still beautiful, strong and is easy to clean. It’s been in our living room and we store toys and blankets in it and it really holds quite a bit of stuff. I purchased a similar one two years ago from Aldi and let me tell you that one fell apart in less than six months of use. Get this one if you’re looking. Seriously worth it. Five years already and I can’t believe it looks this good and has held up for the price! Awesome bench, the new one I just got is identical.
