Selemat Sore & terima kasih video pulau Samosir, istimewa! Interesting Batak masoleum? They must believe in the afterlife to build such an elaborate structure and have people to care 4 for their spiritual life!
Selamat sore Liz dan Cookie! Most Batak people are Christian, but they also once had their own spiritual believes based on an animistic kind of religion. There is quite a lot of detail to learn about the mausoleums - but we need to do a bit more research to make sure we get it right before we talk about it. :)

Most people find 3 full days in Lake Toba is a good amount of time, although we do meet many who love it so much they end up extending!
The best place to base yourself is in the village of Tuktuk. This is where the majority of guesthouses, restaurants etc are, and a good base to get to plenty of attractions.
