    Please read the disclaimers before commenting!
    Disclaimers:
    - I don't know everything about Unity. Please don't ask me about animation or game stuff. I just use it to export to VRM and occasionally for VRChat.
    - I don't know everything about VRM files, so if something goes wrong I may not be able to help you
    Thank you for being patient with me. Life happens so recording and modeling can get difficult so I appreciate the patience. Thank you for all the kind comments on the previous parts!!

    I worked on this for about 16 hours total and I don't even have hair or physics based pieces or expressions yet, but
    it worked. So thank you so much for this tutorial, it wouldn't have been possible without you.

    How did you memorize the entire modelling,texturing and rigging process? How long did it take you to learn all this, i am still trying to memorise the modelling process, and it's taking me forever😔

    • @Astrialogical
      @Astrialogical  Před rokem

      I have been modelling since 2018 and I started out with simple objects and clothes for premade bases. I went to university in 2019 and studied for 3 years. You may have heard this a lot but it really does take time, patience and practise to truly get the hang of any creative process. Don't stress yourself over not being able to memorise the processes quickly!! It is perfectly ok to refer to tutorials and guides if you ever need to. I still have a lot I could learn. The more you do, the more you remember so keep going and you'll be able to model as naturally as breathing!

    @Astrialogical Hey, i followed your tutorials and still cant manage to get my model to be rigged right without issues with weight painted and ect. As an commission can I just send over my character model to you to be fixed? If you could fix it, then that would be great, I jist honest dont have anymore time with blenders terrible systems

    • @Astrialogical
      @Astrialogical  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Sorry to hear you're still having issues with rigging. I don't think I could accept that as a commission, I wouldn't really know how to price that. You're more than welcome to email me the files so I can take a look though

    Hello! When I load my model into Unity and make all the settings I get an error in the console: Can't generate normals for blendshape ''on mesh'', mesh has no smoothing groups. After configuring Shape Keys in Blender (4.0) and exporting.fbx file in Unity (2022.3.24f1) when setting up the VRM already, my model does not blink its eyes, but simply deforms the texture. I have tried various options and still nothing helps, despite the fact that everything works in Blender itself and blinking occurs without defects.
    I also have VRM packages installed that are needed. I searched the entire Internet but there is nothing, please, if you know how to fix this, help me.

    • @Astrialogical
      @Astrialogical  Před 2 měsíci

      I am sorry but I haven't experienced this before so I can not be of help ;; My best advice would be to restart the process again. As annoying as that may be, it's never a bad idea to start over when things mess up to the point that nothing really helps fix it.

    You can configure everything you need for VRM model in Blender using VRM addon, without converting to FBX. :-P

    • @Astrialogical
      @Astrialogical  Před rokem +1

      I am aware! Unfortunately it has never been something I can figure out myself so this method is just easier for me personally ^^

    the video above is how I convert FBX to VRm with add shapekey??

    • @Astrialogical
      @Astrialogical  Před 8 měsíci

      If I am understanding correctly, Yes the shapekeys will stay as the FBX format is for animated models, so it will keep all rigging information and all shapekeys. I hope I understood what you meant ^^

    • @shivangipriya4153
      @shivangipriya4153 Před 8 měsíci

      This video is showing how to convert FBX to VRM. I export the model in blender to an FBX file first, but after that I show how to export FBX to VRM using Unity.
