- The Weapons (Those Colossal Beasts, like Ultima, Saphire, Ruby, Emerald, Diamond, and many other new ones they will and can include)
- Highwind Ship
- Knight of the Rounds (They will be canonic to the story, I feel it)
- Wutai (Yes, Wutai will be a huge thing in Part III, since they are saving Wutai for part III and they are mentioning Wutai so much since Part I)
- Northern Crater
And many other stuff, including what you already mentioned.

Given almost all those areas are not present on the map in Rebirth, it’s safe to say they are keeping them just for that. All I want is for the huge materia quest to be better explained though: in the original there’s absolutely no reason given for why the characters want to take them from Shinra, when for once Shinra’s intentions were good.

There’s basically everything the original game had, and more. The only non visitable areas are Rocket Town (apparently you meet Cid elsewhere), and locations that will become important after the Forgotten City.

I think I'm more excited to see who the compilation characters are going to be in Rebirth. We know Cissnei is in it which leads me to believe we will most likely see Genesis. I'm hoping we see characters from Before Crisis too and hoping they also give us guest party members that fight along with the party and would fit in a "Guest Party 'fourth' slot" for certain quests or limited time with simple moves and maybe one power move depending on the character like Rhonda, Johnny, Zangan, maybe even Dyne in a flashback with Barret?

I was already at the peak og hypedom, but then they went and showed my girl Cissnei!! Pushed my hype meter over the edge and now it's broken.
Im so happy I took the week of March 4th off! I get 9 whole uninterrupted days with Rebirth!

I just replayed remake, and working my way through Yuffie’s story! So exciting
This song imprinted itself in my mind for the last 27 years. Breath-taking... This game shaped my adolescence. While other girls my age were losing their virginity, I was staying-up late trying to figure out how to save Aerith. I spent months replaying the game a second time to see if I could save her from Sephiroth's strike. The cut-scene never changed. In this way, it was like watching a Studio Gibli movie(like "Boy and the Heron")... Perhaps more so if they combined the games aesthetics with FF9 (another one of my favorite Final Fantasies). In 7...I leveled-up all my characters to 9999, got both ultimate weapons with the black chocobos. This game taught me the idea of certain things being written into the tapestry of our lives that are destined to happen. Kind of like the mother in "Boy and the Heron", near the end of the movie the mother revealed to her son that she knew she was going to be born and give birth to him, only to die in a fire during his youth. I was pretty traumatized by not having the ability, no matter how strong I got, to save Aerith. I'm hoping the creators of this remake give us die-hard fans the chance to save her as, for me, this was the most brutal death in character-building history of games... Given her kindness, natural beauty and loving nature (and hauntingly beautiful music score). Here's to hoping we get a chance to save Aerith! To me, she symbolizes Gaia (planet earth) itself! Perhaps we need to see her die again to realize we need to give a $h!t about how we care for others and this world?
There will be out cry if the death doesn’t happen as it did. It’s the most iconic scene in any game ever for me 🤞

I can’t wait. I’m just about finished with fire emblem, radiant dawn, which I hope to finish up this weekend and then I really look forward to taking my time with this game. It looks so good!

@@feverpyretic yeah I just finished up path of radiance and went directly into radiant dawn. Loving them both so far I got four chapters left in radiant dawn.
Good choice Radiant Dawn is the best FE title, i've played it so many times with different challenges like 0% growth, Ironman etc it also has a really good randomizer.

I am so hype for this game! Mainly because of how Zach is still alive and what that will bring to this new chapter. This remake has been such a wonderful experience so far.
The moment where Aerith hands Cloud the materia she is telling him that she has to die for the world to be saved.
we dont know jack shit if any of the main crew will actually die, with Zack somehow alive anything is possible!!
I still think they're going to kill Aerith but it's not going to happen when it normally happens thereby messing a lot of things up and the group is going to come to find that she has to die in order to save the world. Whether they come to that realization before or after she is dead and or she willingly dies, I have no idea.
It would be awesome if it went along what you said but sephiroth doesn't kill her because of this. Because I'm still trying to figure out why. Sephiroth and aerith knew defying fate

I hope that if they're going this way, that she at least dies in this game, because in the time between the release of part 2 and part 3, a lot of people are going to give up on playing part 3 for sure, evem more so if it changes something so significant and memorable about the OG

SPOILER ALERT - Having just beaten the demo this evening and watched the additional "Teaser Clips" - Yes, Aerith will die, Thing is... Maybe not just Aerith! And maybe things are not as clear cut as they first appear...
Going back to the First Rebirth Teaser Trailer - Words from Sepiroth's own mouth... Words we all need to think on... "So if I killed her, Who is she?"
Other than Aerith who will know will die... Who else should by rights be dead even in the Original Game? And how are they still alive... ???

Music tracks I can’t wait to hear: Dear to the Heart, It’s Hard to Stand on Both Feet, Gold Saucer theme, and one of my favorites, Reunion. I hope they bring back a bit of the “industrial” and electronic sounds to some of the tracks. I kinda missed that in Remake even though they did a STELLAR job with the arrangements.
I agree. The reactor theme is missing some of the original feel along with some other tracks
Reunion is easily the song I'm most looking forward to hearing the new rendition of... however it's a very late game song and I unfortunately don't think we will hear it until part 3..
But yeah that track really took me places. In the original when that song came on I would put my controller down, turn the TV volume up, and just do other tasks around my room while reflecting.
@@TigerTabCat1 Yes, Mako Reactor is also one of my favorites. I really missed The Oppressed too, I wasn’t a huge fan of their arrangements for those. But I LOVED Collapsed Expressway and a lot of the new tracks like Undercity Suns and Maze of Scrap Metal.

The way I see the RE project is as a sequel. OG FF7 canon left unperturbed, this leaves the door open for anything! Aeris and Sephiroth know about this, which makes things far more interesting
My only issue with this is OG has terrible translation in some languages. I'm from Spain and the Spanish translation is nearly unintelligible.
For me a 1:1 remake may mean I don't have to overthink every line in order to get the true meaning.
To me FFVII urgently NEEDS a true remake.
Apart from that yeah I love Remake.

I’ve loved the demo. Finally got a perfect on the piano mini game. Lots of fun. Can’t wait to get into this game properly.
It'd be so sick to unlock seph as a party member. They don't put that much work into a characters combat possibility, just for a 5 minute flashback you can play as him. Hoping for a vergil style unlock like dmc5!
I'm so excited. Seeing Celes singing would be phenomenal... Oh wait, wrong game. Umm, seeing Sephiroth making some Cetra Shish Kebab would be great.

I want to play this but I don' have a ps5. I'm waiting until the PC version so I can play it on steamdeck. I'm currently working my way through the pixel remaster collection, so I have a ways off yet. However, I do love how they changed things but also kept the original around for all to play.
Square Enix really went ALL out with this part! And with pretty much everyone loving the demo, this one's critical & commercial success guaranteed 100%! If only Bandai Namco could go HALF this hard with the Tales series, we wouldn't complain as much as we do about them.
only thing I am complaing about is the older games are so much better then the newer ones.

The reason why Loveless play doesn't have an ending is because technically there is no ending...
Loveless is a play that is actually based off of the very first Final Fantasy that got remade into Final Fantasy strangers of paradise and since that game is technically a Time looped game there is no end as the end becomes the beginning.
The more you look into Loveless and the more you really think about it it's a play that is based off of the very first Final Fantasy ever created.
Not necessarily the stranger of paradise version I just added that in there so that you may get my contacts but it's based off the original Final Fantasy

Going to see Advent Children Next week and i cannot wait. These games are feeling like at the end of part 3 it will be revieled that the remakes are just the story being retold by Red like in the end of the original with either that being it or it being the announcement of another installment into the franchise.
no, it is just sephiroth messing with the timeline and therefore the planet is doing other things to try and "fix" it.
@10tailedbijuu I just got back from FF7 advent children complete 20th anniversary theatrical release and it had a whole interview with Nomura and he spilled the beans the new movie started and ended as a a story being told by Red. Nomura said the next installments will tie all the spin-offs, including literature, into the games and finally tie the whole story together so the next chapter can finally be told with a cohesive story behind it. There was stuff shown not in the last remaster and a special teaser of Rebirth.

Anyone else see at the end of the current trailer that at the end, Aerith was not shown in that battle? The battle that look like it was part of the final fight for rebirth. Her path is set, if she knows it or not, who knows.....

@@mayleelove4332 the scene is then on a platform against sephiroth, and I assume it’s the final battle so I believe they died before hand. Best case scenario is that they’re just trapped or held captive somewhere but more than likely they’re dead

I thought Final Fantasy IV (known as FFII away from Japan on SNES) has many deaths so we were used to death before the end of the game before FFVII

No. I didn't play it either. If anything, just watch a 15 minute intergrade summary.

The way FF7 Rebirth hypes me is not the game itself ( I did play the original but it didn't leave a lasting impact on me ), but more what SE shows it's capable of. After seeing Rebirth's trailer, I feel more confident towards SE that if they ever continue on with VIII and most notoriously IX in the same fashion for the following... decades, it won't be as much of a mess as I initially thought it would be when i could only compare with 7 Remake.
I still had problems with the remake but overall I’m hoping rebirth fixes all the padding. I just don’t want this plot to get too crazy but I doubt that will happen. I’m still excited for the game.

Words cannot describe how exited I am for this to be out already. The folks at Square have done a phenomenal job with these reiterations of the game so far. I highly doubt it'd be a disappointment.
