Just make the captain an SBA gaining machine if they do remove the roterbug. It would even make sense knowing how in the mobile game he had a skill that just gave him 100 SBA.
Not a captain player but I do love how you handled this topic! I honestly dislike that the new sigils stifled a bunch of utility
thank you!! and yeah, the faa sigils feel way more like “if ur a real gamer here you go” than an actual upgrade for anyone who isnt perfect dodging everything
I played a lot of Captain before and after the changes, and honestly I really like the art extension changes. They feel nice, despite the SBA nerfs. I still love playing my Djeeta. It's not a Ferry situation, thanks God for that.
Well, the Rotor bug will likely go away in the next patch so we might as well start thinking about them Beta sigils...
im honestly split on whether beta sigils would even be that great unless regin and deci both get their caps bumped up 🫠
It's very possible they fix the "bug" in the next patch. Apparently they don't like people calling "non-intended" damage
as long as she gets compensation ill live… although seeing how rackam got hit and he didnt get anything in return😭
So that's why I felt like my SBA generation was so bad even with uplift...
I mean throw in needing to `save` SBA to deal with damage gates, this is essentially the same feel i had when Another eden had a Octopath collab where the `in-event areas` content disabled normal Another Force to where you need to hit enemies X number of times with weaknesses to get a gauge to pop an another force.
Tweaking a main mechanic of the combat loop to significantly hamper it is never gonna be helpful. Since im used to using SBA dumps but before FF7 rebirth dropped, i ended up with my npcs being way too slow on SBA generation since they werent built with things like uplift and what not to where it got as bad as a 20~30% SBA gap between me and the A.I. units.
Anyway, till i finish FF7 rebirth, it will probably be another week or two before im back in the GBF: Relink grind to `complete` my builds for Rackham and Cagliostro and get a foot into siegfried`s build. Seems like cause of what they bonked on Ferry made her not as good to work on.
Though i likely need to figure who is gonna be my 4th in a end game party o A.I. now.

you can see me using it during the random training mode run! its where you use decimate, cast dodge as soon as you can without canceling decimate altogether, and then use overdrive surge to give the last 4-5 decimate ticks the ODS damage cap

@@flekeinssiebeneins2790 it’s just called that because the bug was first discovered with Percival and his roter wirble skill

is this accounting for the current funny dodge uncap on regin? or did they hotfix that 😭
@@myaaniflakes it's not fixed yet, but yeah i don't think we can consider a new dmg cap bug as a buff cause when it'll get fixed the Captain will truly struggle imo 😞
