Cool video, love the interview set up! The hard hat placement is great, nice added depth with bokeh.

Hi finally I'm writing my thoughts down here. Your channel has really inspired me. I spent a whole day going through your videos when I was preparing interviews for a site engineer role in abroad, I'm soooo excited about this role. Even though it is true, I didn't realise how much this industry is worldwide saturated more importantly, how this has an effect on the everyday life of Indian engineers I grew up in India and 7 years ago to complete my B. TECH(CIVIL ENGINEERING) and now I am a normal civil engineer job in india !! This is so embraced and I feel this is a headache still cant move abroad I am trying it. I want to encourage Indian engineering students, especially those from the Indian community and with lack in English being their second language, to follow their dreams to become an engineer in Abroad.

What is the industry standard rate of pay? I’m a plant manager and was told the next step is apm. Not sure if I want that, plus I would have to float both roles

@@WOLeifFr I think u have it vice versa sir ... If not please elaborate a little bit. I thought the only time a GC company only receives a " draw" after work in the field is completed.

The PM decides what things need to be done (monitoring, negotiations, follow-ups, quality control, etc.) The execution is done by the APM, whose job is primarily to make the PM's job easier.
Also, the PM takes responsibility for everything. Doesn't matter who screwed up where. If the project is a success, PM takes the credit. If it's a failure, PM takes the blame. No excuses.

Assistants will be a pm but they just are entry so they can’t be completely trusted with a whole project right away there basically shadowing
