@@fredspreadem5638to be fair the Scotsman should have a magic sword, with the whole Celtic magic thing.
@@punishedwaluigi3518 It would water down the sword as a symbol/motif, and cripple Jack's individuality as a character; less is more in cases like these.
@@punishedwaluigi3518He did have a magic sword, that's why he became a spirit after dying. It's also why Jack couldn't break his sword when they met.
This show was great. glad that adult swim brought it back for a final season.

Greg Baldwin's Voice of Aku he done the good job
I still feel Season 5 should have been 13 episodes like Seasons 1 through 4 had since it feels a bit rushed, particularly this final battle. Considering that this Season was building up to this final battle (Similar to Primal Season 2) it felt way to rushed, and this episode was shorter then the others which resulted in a not very satisfying conclusion (on top of how they handled Ashi's death).
The videogame takes the time to make the final battle and the Ash resolution much more satisfying.

I would argue that season 5 was the best. Although the shortest wich is sad
People were happy that Samurai Jack saved them. Now it's their turn to save Jack.
reminds me how you get the good ending in fallout new vegas by helping the smaller communities first

As everyone have preferred a thing like this, Jack never wanted to stay. He wanted to return to his timeline and finish the job to erase Aku's regime from the future.
@fareedtoutio0512 Think of this way; there's only one last thing that can make a portal which is Aku. However, knowing Aku, he'd rather die than send the Samurai back to the past. Ashi having this ability feels... rushed, like how would she have known Aku can do this and how would she even know how to use such ability? Honestly, Jack coming to terms that while his people perished in the past, it's all in the past. Now, present in the future, the world can finally be free from tyranny, Jack and Ashi would've been together, alongside with all the people Jack saved, and would've rebuilt a new world where evil doesn't exist/banished to happened. Sounds cheesy? Yea, but I feel like letting go of the past is a good message, even when it was Jack's mission from the very start. Some things can happen that will change the mission in the end; would've been a great message but I'm happier with a bittersweet end; Jack returns without Ashi and all the people he met are left behind but without Aku, a new future is thrived, all the people who fought and suffered will no longer perish now that Jack paved a path for good. And who knows, he might still have his inability to age to help see this new world he fought for.

They went with most cliche ending you can think of, was hoping for more, specially when they announced it to be made by adult swim but what a disappointment it was.

The ending to the show was bittersweet. Reminded me a lot of Gurren Lagann.
