I finally decided to send a comment about your posts!! I enjoy them SO MUCH ! I think that I will try to make a journal for my newest great grand daughter for this Christmas ! I used to do quilts , but my eyesight is not so good , but I do love to doodle , Thank you , Vicky !
@Sara Smythe you can't use gesso or you'll cover up your images with white paint instead of just seal them down. But I think you can use modge podge, never used but I know others do and they say it works.
It is amazing how you make the patterned papers come alive!
OMG Vicky your journal page is so beautiful. I was totally captivated from start to finish wondering what you were going to create with flip flops and you sure did come up with one amazing creation. I am in total awe of what you did my goodness and yes it was lots of fun to watch you through your total process and you always amaze me with how little you use to come up with such big ideas. Oh girl you always inspire me I am a scrapper and it all does add to my creative LO's YOU ROCK and oh are so very, very talented.

Your work is very artistic and very "neat" looking. I like that about your whole process regardless of what art work you are doing. Paint is fine but, it takes real talent to just use paper and pens. I just love your videos! You are a wonderful inspiration. I really want to attempt some art journaling but need to gather a few supplies. Would it be better to start with the PITT markers or gelatos? I don't think I can justify buying both at the same time.
