The sticks are MUCH better after you mod them by replacing them with Gulikit analog sticks. It's literally perfect now.
Good to know!
Any recommendations for the upgrade
Hi can you specify I'm interested
The sticks are fine, just show an ounce of patience and wait for a firmware update from them. It's a known issue not to mention something that they've patched on other consoles they've released with the same sticks.
@@TheChuckster402please give tutorial for replacing sticks.
Great video. My issue with these more expensive ones are it's not far from a much better device.
True. "A bit more and I can get something better. And a bit more, and a bit more..."
@@Xtoffer87 I think once you hit steam deck or equivalent then the next jump is a too much for a way different device. You start getting into the small laptops with controllers.
It’s pretty good. I just picked one up. Beautiful screen.
How long did it take for you to receive the product after you purchased it?
7 days for me from Aliexpress.
You could take a file and make a textured grip on the controller or put grip tape on controller
Worst. Suggestions. Ever.
i enjoy mine very much. cheers for your opinion. ty :)
I cant wait to get one tbh ❤
The one with 50K games on it will save you time...
It is such a fantastic console, especially for the price!
Interesting on the smoothness. Personally it feels so good, I absolutely love it given all other consoles are that matte feel. The super smooth feel is nice.
Also I play a lot of switch, so the sticks didn't hurt me as bad.
End up using my rg556 and barely touch my rp4p. Rp4p is good for a couple Ps2 games the RG556 struggles with, but 90% of games I'll pick up the RG556 juat due to that huge pretty AMOLED screen.
Version with better cpu would be a contender
Definitely, they should stick with this form factor in future, just add more beef
My touch screen randomly stopped working any way to resolve it ?
Agreed. It's just a little off. In a world where the RP4+ didn't exist, this unit would be incredible(with different shell material).
100% spot on mate!
To be honest, I would still buy RG556 just for the cute waifu wallpaper and the fact that it's cheaper.
I’ve had my Anbernic 556 for a couple of Days now, I loaded some PSP Games but get a message: ‘Give PPSSPP permission to access storage’ I have no idea how to get my PSP Games to work? any ideas?
Allow permission and make sure psp games are in the right folder
The solution is to give PPSSPP permission to access storage, as the message is telling you to do. It's straightforward. If you don't give it permission, it can't access your storage.
What part of the message is confusing to you?
I know it sounds simple but, I’m really Dumb - I’m going to ask my Asian Friends to help me!@@thesidneychan
@@thesidneychan i don’t understand why he buy a whole device and cant understand simple things like that
@@thesidneychan do you which emulator plays the GAMECUBE Games?
What racing game was he playing at the 2:21 mark?
Looks like Burnout 🔥
Is this more powerful than ayn odi Pro 1?
It's similar no big deal you can play up to ps2 yet 100 dollars cheaper
Why are people complaining about the joysticks when they are the same as the Nintendo Switch?
People also complain about the joysticks of the switch 😂 and those are not the same as the switch. They look more like the ones of the PS Vita.
@@rubenslootmaekers2742 LOL, I guess I had no idea about the complaint on the switch joysticks. The PS vita is even worse imo.
Joystick def are like switch joysticks and i have 2 OLED switches to have this opinion
@@TheDevourerOfUniverses I see. Yea i have the oled switch too but the funny thing is that I ordered the Anbernic and still waiting to be delivered but found the Asus ROG ALLY Z1 version on sale at Best Buy for $400 and decided to get that instead lol. I'll be returning the Anbernic once I receive it.
@@shibidi yea thats probably a better choice but the anbernic is great for its price ill say
I like my rg556.the screen is very beautiful but....the design....i like it but i hate it.i dont know why.
Probably the sticks they are really bad
this thing is amazing but unfortunately ps2 emulation is just not there yet for us to be able to really have fun with it. most games only work well in the first hour of gameplay then the rest is broken so even tho the device is so powerful it cant really be taken advantage of properly making it a bit of a dissapointing experience
100% correct mate. On first impressions it seems great, but it's just not there long term. Such a shame because it is such a nice console overall.
RG 556 pro with wifi 6 better joystick and RP4Pro hardware and yes... Number one
Dream console!
Absolute L take to be quite honest, massively inflating absolutely minor issues to the point where they're to the detriment of the whole device.
For the money it's the best on the market hands down.
Fair opinion but the fact is the RG556 struggles quite significantly with PS2 games. That's certainly not a minor issue. Is it the best performance at the exact price, yes. Can you get better for a little but more money, yes.
