I’m not sure why but the sprinting looks more authentic than ever. I haven’t played a cod game in a while but when he sprints it feels like genuine running with a gun in hand.

Nah, it’s a dude. Alexei is a male given name in a lot of Slavic countries. His last name is Vlasov. If it were female, the last name would be Vlasova.
The fact that Soviet soldiers here do not have authentic & accurate 80s Cold War weapons (AK-74, PM Makarov, PKM, RPK-74, SVD Dragunov) really pissed me off
I would like to see more real life COD missions. when a special operations unit would do a mission like this they would infiltrate & get out undetected 95% of the time. do silent assassinations, disguise themselves, move in silent and get out undetected with killing only a handful of people, it would be so much more immersive & realistic if there was more stealth, diversion, stabbing/silent kill animations/situations getting out undetected instead of the same old room to room 2 man team unrealisticly killing hundreds of soldiers in a mission. imagine more assassins creed/far cry stealth & undetected infiltration with the depth, history & quality of COD. food for thought. this gets boring its all the same & unrealistic. missions like these did happen during the Cold War & many wars but they weren't even known about, they went in undetected got intel and got out undetected in the real world special ops missions
But then people would have to plan movements, move slow, and God forbid take 5 seconds to sit in one spot to actually think about what to do next. And while there are plenty of people that would like gameplay like that, it isn't enough to make the cost to profit margins acceptable. Keep in mind, what people want when they play games like COD is the power fantasy of shrugging off bullet and shrapnel and being able to take down nan entire battalions worth of men in an afternoon because they too want to feel like the bad ass Hollywood action movie stars that need nothing more then a knife and a gun to fight thier way into and out of anything.
