SWIR Imaging with motorized zoom lens

  • This video showcases a SWIR InGaAs camera with a motorized zoom lens 25- 300 mm. The camera has a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels with a pixel size of 15 µm. The zoom lens consists of 3 motorized controls: zoom, focus and iris. Control of the lens can be done using a controller acting as a remote or through a serial link (RS232/RS422/RS485 (Pelco-D protcol)).
    The SWIR zoom lens exhibits high transmission up to 2.2 µm as well as low distortion, making a great candidate for long range surveillance or imaging applications in the SWIR that require continuous zoom control.

    the Prospect Hill Tower in Somerville, MA with the Grand Union Flag (distance 1km)
    the top of a church in the distance
    a license plate on a parked car
