I had a similar Ethan Allan piece with two large doors and 3 internal drawers - removed the drawers/supports for my TV - painted shabby chic white - a versatile piece used in most rooms in my home
Wow you two do amazing work! I know how long something like this really takes to do. The time you spent on this and the LOVE you both put into it shows in every piece you both tackle. You have inspired me so much that my garage is full of projects. 1st project done by a request from a family member. It was a very old piece in a barn but she wanted it updated and put in her bathroom.

From the newsprint stamped in the drawer, this piece looks like a dark pine set we had for our son in the 1980's. We bought it at Sears. It was great furniture. It turned out great with your redo.

Beautiful..taking a heavy chunk of wood furniture that nobody wants and turning it into a updated piece that will stand the test of time. I love to repurpose/refinish furniture. I have a child’s roll top desk that I wanted to restore but once I got into removing lacquer I realized it wasn’t worth it so I’m painting using some of your methods. I plan to keep and use in a nook as decorative piece.

Love this dresser/sideboard/craft storage would be great as well. You do a wonderful job and are so detailed. I hope you put at least a $400 price tag on it if not more. I have been binge watching all of your videos and ignoring all the other crafters because I just have to see it all! Your husband and yourself remind me a lot of myself and my other half ❤️ We love to tackle projects together but we are to busy with work etc. to do this full time. Someday though 🙏

The wax-over-black technique shocks me every time!!
Question: Do you use straight antiquing wax on this technique, or is it diluted in any way?
Straight antique wax.. rub in .. rub off
Have to say it's just my personal preference but I don't like the front stuff that was put on the drawers I think it would have been beautiful just all black and stressed out,
But I am sure they are others that love this look.

Turned out great. These type of buffet/dressers are good for so many spots in a home. Especially for a TV stands. For those of us who have smaller homes they’re great to put the flat screen above or on and the drawers are perfect to put away DVDs, board games, etc. I love a little extra storage! I don’t care how big your home is an extra half dozen drawers is a thing of beauty forever! Lol
