The smell is a real thing. It's very nostalgic! I remember when I was grabbing base and jungle and team rocket packs from the shelf at the stores. Man those were the days!
Yep. Smell is one of the strongest links we have to time travel. Never take those experiences for granted!
I remember going to the Wizards of the Coast store in the Mall of America growing up in Minnesota and seeing Fossil, Jungle, Team Rocket, etc. there. Those were the days!

Love that you guys are always supporting one another! Also, Evolving skies packs are 15+ dollars a pop now. They just keep getting more expensive. So I don't blame you guys for wanting to shift from sword and shield in these.

Honestly have yet to be disappointed by a PokéRev pack and this video just further demonstrates how good they are. Nice luck with Silver & Gold!

Revs gold packs.. so beautiful, almost as beautiful as our Vault top tier! RAINBOW! My kid and I first starting in Sword and Shield right around evolving skies. We had no idea how good that set was. lol
I say NO. Last time I order it got lost, this time I ordered a 5.0 and they sent me a 4.0!!! So dissapointed in these experiences

Started collecting in the end of heartgold soulsilver era/ beginning of black and white. The sets I remember opening the most were DP Secret Wonders, HGSS Unleashed, and BW Noble Victories. I wish i could open these sets again...
Started back in base set quit growing up and got back into it right when vivid voltage released. Wished I would have stayed collecting the whole time

I started in the DP/Platinum era, with the Charizard lvl X and Garchomp lvl X tins.
Original base set when I was kid got me hooked and than came back at evolutions! It’s been expensive lol
I started collecting during the ex era as a kid but didn’t start back up until end of sword and shield around lost origin.
The first time was when I was younger and was the original base set, fossil, and jungle. Then, I got back into it in the sword and shield era with my youngest.
I started all the way back in the beginning with base set as a kid still have some of those cards to this day.

Like many, I started collecting with base set when I was a kid and like most, loved the heck out of Pokémon but unfortunately gave it up and sold those cards when I was young and regret it every day since but recently restarted the drive to collect firstly with a master set of 151 and hopefully will be able to continue to have a fun time collecting cards and maybe more master sets of sets I have missed since and new ones to come!

No freshly open packs just smell so good. From your childhood to your adult life the nostalgia smell is just there!!!

I actually noticed the difference in the smell of cards yesterday when I was going through my collection from my childhood but that might be because of all my slobber and snot from when I was a kid.

Grew up with pokemon, my two older brothers and me. My first game was the original silver version I got for christmas, and I started collecting cards from Gen Two and never looked back.
Base set thru gym heroes. Came back into the hobby with SV 151. Love the movie reference. I use "He got two!" Or "Tata turle man!"
