Excellent song, and I love Dougie!
This song is original from Dougie MacLean's album 'Snaigow' (1980 - Plant Life), unfortunately one of his most underexposed albums.
Chorus: Oh for him back again (2x), I wad gae a' Knock Haspie's land, for Hieland Harry back again.
ab cd I have that LP! I bought it when it first came out as an import here in Canada. I realise that I'm dating myself, but it just shows that I had good taste even back then.
