Just like DC with The Flash they have a hard choice. Either they let the lead role market the movie which will probably hurt the box office or they don't which will make many not notice it which will also hurt the box office. The question is what hurts the box office the most. It is hard to say if they did the right thing with The Flash, I think he handled himself rather well just before the premiere. I do think Rachel will be a total disaster though, especially if they pair her with Greta Gerwig. None of them know when to just shut up. They only meet people with the same opinions as themselves and can't understand how anyone can think differently.

They should have remade this film in 3D, a good way to pay respects to the original and Walt. Plus hire a voice actress for Snow who can actually sing, especially sing her very high pitched voice so probably a broadway star instead of just a Hollywood celeb. Boo Hoo, Rachel "Weird Weird" Zegler isn't getting her way. The good news is that studios do take notice of unsufferable actresses as they are reluctant to hire them or simply refuse to do so. Brie Larson and Tatiana Maslany are two recent examples. Zeger however seems to enjoy costing Disney money with her behavior, and anytime she opens her mouth. She has also displayed that she has no respect for the people she works with. My guess is that once the financial losses become known on this dumpster fire, she will be blacklisted and rightfully so.
You can usually tell when the directors or writers is a feminist, they have daughters in real life... so they go after the patriarchy in their films. But there are times when they still do it right... Ridley Scott, George Miller and old James Cameron because they want to teach their daughters that, "they can do it too!"

How to fix this movie.
1. Fire Rachel Zegler
2. Apologies To All the Disney Loyal fans.
3. Erase all ideas of Girl-Boss Male Shaming.
4. Retell the Snow White film exactly like the 1937 original version of the movie.
5. Fire all these woke writers.
The first thing for Snow White is to get a coherent storyline and shoot it according to the plot and not add stupid twists to it. Get a storyline that supports all children, not just girls. Putting one character down to favor another is not supportive of the audience, especially if it is based on gender. Second, get an actress to play the lead who does not put down other actors or cast members. Disney doesn't need that kind of publicity and it only shows what a failure as both a person and an actress that Rachel Zegler is. The story needs a strong Prince Jonathan and a strong Snow White to act as role models for children because kids emulate what they see in the movies and on TV. Does Snow White have to become a murderess to be successful? No. In the original film, the Wicked Queen dies as a result of an accident while battling the Dwarves. The plot made sense. There was never any suggestion that the Dwarves intended to kill her. I think the idea was that they were going to capture her. You could have a plot line where Snow White negates the Evil Queen's magic, and in her attempt at escape, the Evil Queen dies. Even in Beauty and the Beast, neither Belle nor the Beast is responsible for Gaston's death. Rather it is his own folly that kills him in the fall from the parapet. That's a typical Disney ending and it is a device which should play strongly here.

You see when the original came out Adriana Caselotti the voice actress of Snow White wasn’t invited to the premiere, cause inviting the voice actors wasn’t really a thing. And Walt prohibited her from going on the radio to talk about the role bc he wanted to “preserve the voice of Snow White” so she was basically never allowed to voice act/ accept a big role in anything ever again. And now history is repeating itself, Disney is probably not wanting to invite Rachel to the premier, and they want to preserve our precious ears from what she has to say on press tour. Touché Disney what a way to honor Walt Disney, touché!
