I bought this motor brand new in 1984, without electric start, I have many found memories of that motor. I can tell you that it runs great in 17°f air temp and 33°f water temp. Lots of hours on the tiller handle. Thanks for the video.
I do enjoy your videos. On some, you include the compression value on the cylinders. This, combined with the size of the boat, prop pitch and top end speed is an excellent reference for anyone looking to buy an outboard! Thanks again.
Thank you. I found that compression is not that important. Had Evinrude 1987 with 80 psi on both cylinders, ran perfectly and it didn’t lack power and was topping 25 MPH on 1436.
@@vojomatusenko HM... my evinrude 15 hp is 60 PSI, is that ok? it's going great .... thenks czcams.com/video/7jsGFXF_TUY/video.html czcams.com/video/s2iMbZgzprE/video.html
It sounds really good. I like to see anything over 100 PSI, good ones have 120 PSI. Never had motor with that low compression and running. Let me know how it does on the lake.

It's a talent to be able to work with and diagnose motor issues. This little baby sounds terrific. Very nicely done, informative and enjoyable..Thanks
Thank you.

Correction: compression may not be very important for performance in every day use. But sure it will be for longevity. Hope I spelled it right.

Hi
How many liters of fuel per 20 km?
Rule is it should consume 1.5 gallons of gas for one hour running at the full throttle.
