Switching from German Grip to French Grip is an awesome metal drummer technique for better blast beats. Maybe you're finding that the french grip causes you to lose control, or maybe you find that the german grip doesn't allow you to increase your ability to play for longer. In this video I want to give you some tips and tricks on how to switch between the two grips. Also included are some extra pointers on posture and tension.
