Yeah agreed, and the second part is what's truly insane. Twitch, a major source of info for many people is totally OK with actual calls for terrorism (not the first one either) but will permaban you for pretty random political stuff. Now zoom out and imagine the impact of this on our information ecosystem. And we wonder why people are going absolutely insane left and right. Internet brain is a major problem and platforms like twitch are actively facilitating the escalation of this problem, and the collapse of basically everything that kept western societies (mostly) together.

im a conservative and i like destiny. although i dont agree with everything he says. hes generally based in fact and does research on a topic before opening his mouth about a subject. thats respectable and i appreciate this. i think irl me and destiny would get along well. politics doesent have to be the be all end all for people and their relationships. it really says something about where american society is at. ps. anyone calling for the death of anyone should be banned immediately and ostracized from whatever community they are in.

Seeing the owner of Twitch hanging out with the popular streamers and trying to look cool leads me to believe that’s he’s in the popular twitch streamers pocket and because guys like Destiny aren’t fake brownnosers, he waits for any opportunity to remove him or takes a lot of input to do so from a guy like hasan.
