  • In today's video, we finish up our 3 part series on sizing watch bracelets. We will tackle the folded link bracelet that is popular on so many Seiko 5's, Orient 3-stars, and in general most lower cost bracelet watches.
With just a bit of know how and some simple tools you probably already have, you can save a trip to the jewelry store, save a few bucks, and make simple bracelet adjustments on your own.
We recommend this tool kit for all simple repairs: www.longislandwatch.com/Watch...

Mark that is a really good video. Sharp close-ups, the right pace, and I like your style and delivery. Realistic and practical. But I agree they are awful things to do particularly the smaller ladies sizes. Hey but they are a nice strap to wear. Easy to put on, strong, and I find them reliable once you have them sized. Thank for this.

It’s currently 2021 and this video is 4 years old and it still helped me resize my newly bought watch today. This is my first watch with T bar links rather than pins. Very helpful video, the last video I watched mentioned I needed to use pliers to push out the T bar links, but watching this video using just a screwdriver tool saved me money from visiting a watch store to assist with the resizing process.
Thank you very much for the video, found that sizing the T bar links to be much easier than the traditional pins in terms of removal and installation.

Hallo Mark, thanks for your instructions. I agree that these bracelets and links can be a complete nightmare. In your video you work with new watches and bracelets. For people like me however, we buy most of our watches pre owned or do some work for a friend. Taking out links from a pre owned bracelet is the real challenge. I have learned the hard way that it is wise to take of the bracelet if you want spare it. Clean it up real good, If the links are full of dirt you will damage it. If it is clean, your chances of success are much better. I enjoyed your video's a lot. You show exactly what we hobbyist need to know. Greetings from Holland Europe.

Execellent. Thanks for the really clear instruction. Didn't think I would be able to re size my Casio Watch strap. Using your guide I managed it without much trouble at all. Thank You!

Found the video really useful. My dad gave me an old Pulsar watch he bought in the 90s but it was sadly to big. Took me 2 minutes to remove the needed links and reconnect the bracelet. Thank you so much.

Just like your watch reviews, you make everything simple & easy! I bought an Alba chronograph recently from Japan in amazing condition. When trying it on found it was just a link short. I contacted the guy but unfortunately he didn’t have an6 spare links. As it turned out I did want another anyway. I made sure this had an extra link. It arrived just now. So after your vid I just popped one off one watch & added it to the other. Now they both fit perfectly! 👍🏼
