I think a lot of casuals gloss over it but man his consistency is freakish, it gets boring but now & then he just does mad shit....I still remember that Singapore quali like it was yesterday....He pulled it out of nowhere vs a strong af Ferrari with a crazy lap time. People will always moan even in 2035 over the new dominating kid or whatever, but just appreciate the moment lads.

I jus came back to watch this after the 2014 pole lap of the same circuit and wow, the speed difference is insane
Even though he gets way too much hate rn, he'll be considered one of the GOATs of F1. No one remembers Schumi because he crashed out his opponents or because he had a teammate who wasn't allowed to beat him, we remember Schumacher because of his 7 championships and 91 wins. It will be the same for Lewis

Boy did 44 $#!t the bed on qualifying all last season, but this season he's shown the field he can bounce back from that, and still perform on a Sunday.
People in the grandstands...weird? But Lewis's method is becoming clear. He explores the limit of every corner during practice. If he isn't going off, there is still more to come. Then when qualification time comes, he knows precisely how much he can take out of every part of the track. Drivers who have not gone off in practice haven't learned the track limits.
