Great video! I could definitely use the stand assist!
I think its a necessity, I am glad I have it, it adds stability and its a good tie off rope.
I have mine on order. Your videos helped me decide on the mode 110. Pretty excited ! Your videos are informative and to the point. Cheers
That's great, glad my video helped with your decision and was informative. Im sure you will like the yak and enjoy it.
Nice video a lot of unthinkable things I should get for my new kayak
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. I appreciate it.
Love your channel fam. I just got back on the water about a month ago after over a decade. I broke my back firefighting in 2010 and the nightmare began, but God restores and I’m on the water in a lifetime tamarack which I believe that’s how you started off.
I’ve modded the snot out of the lifetime especially the seat since, I only get the most 2 hrs on the water, but I’m grateful for that!
The catch mode 110 looks like my next one. I think being able to stand would help longevity on the water.
Anyway, thanks for the vids and enjoy!
Blessings
Good to hear your back on the water after your incident, that therapy is needed. Yeah man I started with the tamarack and still have it but the width, stability, amazing seat where you can sit on it or stand, is night and day. I didnt know how much comfort I was missing. My back would be killing me after a long paddle day on the water. This catch 11p feels like im laying on the couch on the water🤣. Glad my video was helpful but I will say if your thinking of upgrading, once you do you will kick yourself for not hetting a yak like the catch 110 sooner. Its only 13lbs heavier than the tamarack. Get that therapy!
The knobs on the seat make a huge difference. They fit and it doesn't rock back slightly. It's fine as is, but the extra stability helps keep someone from getting surprised. And of course putting life jacket as #1 was the right call. It's amazing how many people I've seen on the water without one. Unbelievable.
Yeah its unbelievable how many people try to act like not having one is "manly" and they trust in their swimming abilities even in the colder months. But hey man to each, his own. Yes the stability and not being suprised is a no brainer, safety is a top priority.
Make sure you guys tune in to Part 2 and 3 after watching this. I appreciate everyone for watching and for liking the video. It helps me more then you know!
Hey man quick question, I just got the same Yak and was wondering what a good recommended rack would be for this thing? I have a midsized suv
Yeah I would recommend the one I have. I did spray it with black rustoleum to prevent rusting and rust running stains. Here you go. ARKSEN 64" Universal Black Roof... www.amazon.com/dp/B013COCXDC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
