Great content 🙌 This is the kind of stuff people interested in submitting/ grading need to watch. Those dang factory indents (banchero) are so annoying! Love your vids 🔥
@@pdxwax a 10 used to be way higher than a 9 but as prices across the whole market came down it leveled his PSA 10 price. A bit of an overreaction but I think if he gets the Ravens deep in the playoffs this year that 10 will once again have a huge premium.
Could very well be. I also put the card savers in a team bag to keep particles out of there, so should be pretty secure as far as coming out during shipping. At PSA though, who knows
Appreciate that! I usually send them off for consignment & have also shipped them to COMC. I used to sell them myself but it was just so time consuming, and selling raw can be a bit of a pain, though your return is usually higher assuming you list best offer.
@@pdxwaxa video going over all your tools would be great. From PSA prep tools to websites and groups to be in. My cousin is my age and has been doing this for years now (he is a degenerate gambler) but he moves cards on Twitter and through a Discord channel primarily. Just an idea. I have a YT channel, SlimTrim, where I play MLB The Show but I'm going to add in content for my card collecting journey.
@@slowpitchslugger7249 that’s a good idea, I do list some of the websites I use on my sourcing vid but a video going over tools would be cool. you should definitely add some card content to your channel!
Thanks for the video tips on this! Dumb question but does wiping/cleaning cards too much with the microfiber clothes ever introduce new scratches to the cards, or is this process overall pretty safe? Not sure how much pressure we should aim to apply when wiping/cleaning.
Thanks for watching! I’ve never had issues w/ microfibers causing scratches but you definitely want to make sure there aren’t any particles on the cloth that could damage a card before you use them. I have 3-4 cloths & periodically throw them in the washing machine to keep them clean. I also tend to use lighter pressure on thinner stock, non-chrome cards
Love seeing how you make the sausage!
Nice video! Love to see how others look at cards before sending
Same. Everyone has their own process. Thanks for watching!
Excellent material.
Thanks! Glad you found it useful
thank you for sharing this !!!
no problem! thanks for watching
Great video as I’m getting ready for my first submission. Thx.
Thanks for watching! Hope it helps. Good luck on your first sub!

Appreciate it! I get so many questions about what to grade, figured it’d be useful. Ah yes, the dreaded Panini crescent moon indent, such a bummer
Great video. 2018 Prizm Lamar’s are notorious for that manufacturing defect. Hence the reason only 687 PSA 10’s and 3,270 PSA 9’s and 1,207 PSA 8’s.
Much appreciated! Yeah I ran into that issue again recently. Should be more of a premium on 10s considering that’s a common flaw

@@charlest7311 hopefully! I always felt Lamar was a little undervalued in general
Should invest in a big jeweler's magnifying glass with a soft dome light...the circular kind..on a stand....
I actually already have one of those but I usually just eyeball it unless I want to get a closer look. Definitely a handy tool though
I've heard people say the pull tabs make it easier for the card to get yanked out accidentally and damaged in shipping or handling at PSA.

PSA asks to not do that. They don't remove the card, they cut it out of the holder.
Really enjoy your content. What do you typically do with the grading rejects?

That Wilson red and white had a bad corner bottom left
Good eye! I noticed that too while editing the video. Was able to flatten it out a bit w/ a corner tool thankfully
Next we need a video of you sourcing on eBay and talking through your process.
I actually posted one of those. You should be able to find it if you check my past videos
@@pdxwax I’m an idiot, I just realized it is the first video I found from you and watched it before I subbed. Guess I’m watching it again!
@@slowpitchslugger7249 no worries! I will probably shoot another sourcing video at some point

@@pdxwax Awesome thanks for the insights/tips around cleaning!
When do you send back cards that are rejects?
I consign them asap so I can reinvest that cash
Think psa just cuts them out of the card saver!
Makes sense. Something about putting on the tabs satisfies my OCD, even though it’s probably a waste of time
@@pdxwax I did the same , then got penny sleeves that have a pull tab on them! I’ll just keep using those lol!
