As someone who solely collects for the fun of it these are packs I'd grab when I'm at Family Dollar. I love opening packs and these are reasonably priced.
There are so many "Dollar" stores around. I always forget which one has baseball cards...Dollar General, Family Dollar, Dollar Store, etc... 😂 Thanks for sorting it out, Jabs! Love the fun content as always sir!! 🙏
I live near a Family Dollar and for a long time I thought it was a Dollar General. It is confusing.
@LinkRocks Right? I don't know how many times someone told me the "Dollar Store had cards" and found myself at a dollar general or some other variation! 😆
Dollar General usually has just a few packs - the one I know about has them by the checkout area.
in my area family dollar and dollar general rarely have cards when they do it's year old junk. Dollar Tree never has anything here but they do in some places...
They all should, however employees hoard.

I'm not gonna lie, I've opened a ton of both of these, some recorded, and until you pointed out the auto aspect of the blisters, I never realized it. Every loose card that I've gotten was 1 series 1 card & 2 junk wax cards in each. So even the rare times I find something before you, I still learn something from you! haha. With the Big League, you can find any foil other than the Gold, and no inserts or auto's. Awesome job as always Jabs.

I just stopped at a family dollar here Tampa and got about $50 worth of cards. Big Leagues($5),Topps series 2($1), DonRuss($1). I got an Auto, 2 Shohei, a. Few silver foil, Jordan Walker. Not bad a new collector.
I bought one of the Topps big league and one of my three random cards was a Aaron judge vector bomb squad
I bought 30 donruss basketball and got Asur Thompson yellow press proof and a a few other decent ones
Screw Walmart, everything is locked up.

I went to Walmart up the road from my house a few days ago. Bought a Topps Big League blaster box. I opened the packs and got a opening act autograph of Ken Waldichuck.

The Mickey Mantle box thing actually makes perfect sense. If the odds are 1 in 5, and you went 20/40 and then 0/60, then 20/100 would give you 1 in 5. You hit the odds on the nose. I get the proportion of them is confusing/unexpected given your initial experience, but you weren't ripped off. You got exactly the odds you paid for.
Law office next to a Family Dollar. Beats the guy I used who was nextdoor to a Texas Roadhouse.
You know the print run is out of control if family dollar got cards.

Mark Cohoon had a good minor league career with a 46-41 record and was actually assigned to the Mets on April 4th 2012 but the next day was sent back down to the Binghamton Mets and then he was released on March 24th 2014 and never pitched again his last season he went 9-5 with a 3.99 era and 89 strikeouts so sadly he never got his shot

Since you are not into football, thought I would give you some information. Where I think they dropped the ball with Bowman mojo's going from just prospects to full set, Panini went the opposite direction with Optic football. All color variations in blasters are RR's. Thumbs up to the guy who convinced Panini to make the change.

I never found cards at Family Dollar, Dollar General, or Dollar Tree.
They are usually behind the checkout counter. You might have to ask for them.

Bought one of the big league baseball today from family dollar and hit a bomb squad Aaron judge vector. It’s weird tho the 3 cards not in the pack were Donruss and Prizm in the Topps thing
Foils aren't parallel, they are uncommons or rarer. I buy the team sets for the rc's.
