    have been a fan of MERCEDES since age 5
    Became fond of the Mercedes c300 since 2015
    was a little bit uneasy between either purchasing a Honda accord EXL or Toyota Camry XSE as a daily drive
    but your video made me fall more in love with the MERCEDES C300
    really enjoyed your video covered all of the things I was wondering and most if not all of what everyone's thinking

    C-class is no longer "The entry level" Mercedes. That designation belongs to the CLA Series, and has for a number of years. This has allowed Mercedes to put more into the C-Class and charge more.

    Thinking about buying this car. There’s used 2018 with less than 30,000 miles available for 29k. I can definitely afford it. Little bit worried about the whole thing that parts for a Mercedes are ridiculously expensive for repairs

    • @brsk9264
      @brsk9264 Před 3 lety +6

      I got one and your best bet is to purchase a warranty for your vehicle . See if you can get a certified pre owned model , has warranty included and always low mileage. Also if you are able to try to buy straight from the respective dealership 👍🏽

      @@brsk9264 this was a great tip I’m about to get this car and also worried about the maintenance… what does the warranty do ?

    • @brsk9264
      @brsk9264 Před 2 lety +4

      Keayana Hill Mercedes sells vehicles that are “certified pre owned” and it includes a manufacturer warranty. For the vehicles that don’t carry a CPO warranty you can purchase a roll over factory warranty if it is available. I’m not sure if the coverage varies by model/state but I purchased a maintenance plan and the warranty . The maintenance covers my first 2 maintenances and I’m glad I purchased because the 50,000 and 60,000 mile services are the most expensive and I saved money. The warranty covers all components of the car and any engine issues , whatever the cost is they will cover up to half of what the car is worth and you pay a deductible of $100. I’m not sure how their plans work in different states but definitely do some research on roll over warranties and certified pre owned warranties. I’ve had my car for 10 months now purchased at 46K miles and it has 56K now. No issues whatsoever, make sure to ask for the car fax , make sure it’s clean no accidents no rebuilt or salvaged title. Also make sure the vehicle has been fully serviced and ask for service records.

    Superb video review of this car. Lots of useful info. I wanted to hear the sound of the engine while you were driving this car and you did that (you'd be surprised how hard it is to find a video that does that for this C300 model). Subscribed and liked.

    I know this review is 3 years old, but I'm seeing it for the 1st time as I was looking for info on this car being that we just picked up a used 2018. I'm baffled by what is considered the 'Basic' C300 model. You claim your review is on the basic model, yet I see some features that must be upgraded, starting with the wood like trim on the interior. Our basic model does not have that trim. Also that rear Sunroof, don't have it (but wouldn't want it, so cool). The upper lining IS BLACK, like the rest of the interior, something you wished the car you were reviewing had. Although I actually like the lighter headliner better. We did get a good price for it (I think ?), Under $30,000 with low miles, but I'm a bit underwhelmed with the features. Maybe will have to spring for one of those premium packages to be installed to get the full experience as I do love the feel & the drive of it.
    Your review is one of the best I came across, so Thank You!

    The C class is true luxury when it comes to the interior few cars in this class can match the eye candy in the C class. . As far as the exterior is concerned - the front , looking at the C class dead on is also very impressive. However the BMW 3 series overall is a much more masculine , planted, purposeful look. The C class however may appeal to a wider audience currently for a variety of factors. The redesign of the 3 series is now almost complete. The winner has to be the consumer with all this competition.

    I wonder why the Acura TLX is not a contender for competition? It’s loaded with tech more so then this. It’s about the same engine performance but in a V6. The biggest thing I can see, is the TLX is FWD, or more technically, the engine is mounted transversal, because both cars are AWD optional.

    I am really torn between a C300, A4, and 330I. I really love the C300 styling, though the ride is good only with the standard or comfort suspension. The sport suspension is rough, especially on side roads. Also, the technology in the C300 is frustrating to use (albeit advanced). I also don't get why you cannot get Apple Carplay and the larger screen/voice commands (you have to opt for the smaller 6.5" screen if you want Apple Carplay). Additionally, I don't quite agree with the rear seat comments. The Audi A4 has more legroom in the rear seat than the c300 (I'm 6-feet tall too). Also, if you add the panoramic sunroof to the C300, the headroom is slightly compromised as well in the rear seat (though tolerable).

    Good review but If I am totally honest. This is by no means the best C Class in terms of generation. I Have a W204 and W205. But the older model is better built in every category and also got better fuel economy in a real-world test.
