How to Encourage People to Walk More (this was unexpected!)

- In a place I am not that familiar with, I decide to walk and get my lunch and unexpectedly experience a situation where I learn how to encourage people to walk more.
There is really physiological factor when planning sidewalks. Putting a few sidewalks will not make people walk if it’s an ugly and long walk. The same way with bike lanes, people will not use bike lanes if they feel they will get hit by a car easily.
Good Video Byron! I live nearby in Berkley and have personally used that same pathway before in Emeryville. It is a bit of a hassle to use and I am curious how many people actually use it. Regardless, it is a faster way compared to going across the pedestrian bridge that takes you to the Amtrak station.

Hi! Unfortunately, places I have worked are now requiring to be working in-person at least for a couple days a week versus full-time remote. I have heard that the private sector has more chances of being full-time remote, but you will need to find a way to get through the hoops to work internationally.

Design traffic? You mean like geometric design? For accuracy, you will need a software that can do CAD. Software exists to do designs on a planning level too. It just depends what you are trying to accomplish.
