Wow! I love how this song got such a positive and emotional reaction from you. You’re right about how beautiful the song is and that’s in no small part to Frida’s gorgeous lead vocal. I prefer this (Spanish) version much more than the English version “I Have a Dream”. I actually saw ABBA live in Boston in October 1979 and when they performed this song (English version) they had a group of local kids onstage to sing the children’s choir portion of the song which was really sweet. You should consider the Spanish versions of “Hasta Manana” and “Fernando” both beautiful

If you want more AMAZING FRIDA, you should do "Our Last Summer" from Super Trouper. her vocals are gorgeous and there is a great guitar solo! Or "I Wonder" from ABBA the Album! Or if you are looking for guitar-y synth-y try "Should I Laugh Or Cry" b-side to "When All is Said and Done" in the USA.

Even though I can't speak Spanish, I prefer this to the original 'I Have A Dream'. Just seems to flow better and the children's choir is a little better blended in. I think Frida and Agnetha were probably having the odd glance at a lyrics board to the side just to stay on point.

Hi Dereck. I don't know if you are going to record your reactions to all of ABBA's songs, but if you are going to do that, I think the last song you should react to is "The Way Old Friends Do". This is one of my favorite songs and I can't wait to hear it, but at the same time I think the most suitable place for this song is at the very bottom of ABBA's song list. I just want to say that this is the song that the band members sang in 2016. They sang together for the first time in 34 years!!! For me, it's just an incredibly sentimental song. When I think to myself that they sang this song after 34 years of break, I get chills all over my body and tears in my eyes. And precisely because of this one fact, and because of the amazing lyrics of this song, I think this should be the last ABBA song you will react to. You may not know what I mean because you probably don't love this band as much as I do, but I hope you understand me.

Dereck, please react next 'Andante Andante' spanish also from Super Trouper album! It's more 'clear' than English version. Also introducing Benny's fantastic synths in chorus once again. Also Al Andar/Move on.

It's interesting to note that the Gracias Por La Musica album was more a project by Agnetha & Frida. They recorded the album with their sound engineer Michael B. Tretow. Bjorn and Benny were off writing songs for the next album Super Trouper, so Agnetha & Frida had some spare time and decided to record the Spanish album. Benny even once said that he had never listened to the album, except to okay it before release.
Other Spanish songs for you to enjoy are: "Al Andar" ("Move On") "Andante Andante" (Spanish version) and "Felicidad" ("Happy New Year"). And an English song with a Spanish flavour I think you would enjoy: "Put On Your White Sombrero". It was left off the Super Trouper album at the last minute and remained unreleased for 14 (!) years. The song has Benny's trademark synths and the vocal harmonies by Agnetha & Frida at the end of the song are off the charts. Sends shivers down my spine every time.

Actually it’s the third ABBA song in Spanish you react to:
    1. Chiquitita
    2. Hasta Mañana
    3. Estoy Soñando (I Have A Dream)
You need to listen to the English versions of the 2 latters too, not necessarily as video reactions, just on your own.
I suggest ‘I’m A Marionette’ for your next ABBA reaction.

Gracias por this reaction Dereck. I Have a Dream the English version is part of the Voulez Vous Album. No official video however there's a live English Version. Keep reacting to more ABBA.

The English version ("I Have a Dream") is from the "Voulez-Vous" album--so add another great song to the list from that album.
