Side 2 of the disc you see in the video above, issued on the Angel label in the early 1960s.
According to the program notes on the LP jacket: "The importance of the piano part in a song is shown, how it paints pictures, tells stories, evokes moods. And some of the problems are discussed -- with point and wit -- such as balance and transposition. Among Lieder used as examples are Schubert's Wohin, Auf dem Wasser zu Singen, Der Lindenbaum, Das Wandern, Wanderers Nachtlied, Tränenregen, Frühlingstraum, Die Allmacht, Im Frühling, Der Einsame and Erlkönig, and Brahms' Vergebliches Ständchen and Der Schmied."
The LP serial number is 35262.
Images are from the LP jacket (front and reverse) and the record label.

My father used to play this LP when I was little and I still remember the "Is too high?" story. Thank you for the upload.
What a delight. Thank you for sharing these two episodes of the inimitable Gerald Moore. Cheers!
Thanks for this precious records of Gerald Moore.
Mr Gerald Moore is most certainly not lacking self-confidence ~ but then again, why should he? He is fabulous in his own right ... and we can be grateful, that he shared so much of his expertise (and, I love his sense of humor while he does it).
Surely another one for my Collection of "Documentaries".
Thank you ... KfC :o)
The best mixture of explanation and performance. Very interesting and understandable. Thanks for the nice upload!

Thank you!
A born teacher! Witty and humorous while imparting knowledge.
Searched in vain for Side 1, did you get a chance to upload it? Thank you so much.
Yes, just uploaded it. czcams.com/video/O6De3QqkXk8/video.html
davidhertzberg thank you so much!
I loved the comments about transposition. He sounds as if its just another part of the game. I never was very good at it, for sure. It's really a difficult skill to master, if it can ever be actually mastered by ordinary human mortals.
The best.
Mr. Hertzberg: Have you posted Side 1 somewhere on youtube? I can't find it!!
(a former student of Madame Gwendolyn Kodolfsky at USC)
Thanks! Is there any chance to hear side 1?
