I was just thinking about Shelby the other day and wondering how yall were doing! I'm glad her plucking seems to have plateaued and that you got your dream job! And also, don't be too harsh on yourself. You're doing your best and that's enough!
Sometimes you can do everything right and the bird still decides to start eating itself. Have you considered stuff like boredom? Sometimes we do things just out of boredom, even when nothing is really wrong.
It’s a net I got on eBay that’s used to protect veg patches from birds, they can easily chew through it but they choose not to because there’s too much to do and they’re distracted enough not to focus on the net. It comes in one big sheet when you tell them the size you want
Hi sister...hope all r fine....i need help from u...how u r managing macaws in home n keeping on shoulders screams loud....n may get ears damage....pls give me ideas how u keep macaw from sound....I have small son ...our ears r getting damage....
Unfortunately owning a macaw means dealing with the noise. They’re wild animals. They’re not meant to be pets, and so they still behave like wild animals. They are very very loud and although you can train them to be less noisy they will always scream
hello i subscribed to your channel i had a catlinia mccaw and i took her to the vet had blood test down and all that she was a neked nelly plucked her belly no she was not stressed at all she was not caged up at all she did what she wanted to do in the summer we let out around the pool area had to have wings and nails done no flying here to many hawks here. i have 8 parrots all different kinds had to get rid of sugar the catalina macaw she is now at a bird show and she loves it down there she could care if she sees me or not she is very happy where she is at she is 20 years old this year. i am 67 didn't want to do but i had to do it. but she goes to any body i had to go to any body she is a really friendly bird and that is good she is the store bird greeter she lets the other birds out of the cages for the owner but i have 3 congo greys a hanns mccaw groffin yellow head azamon and a ring neck parakeet and parakeets sorry about spelling not to smart over here when you get my age you will under stand but love your channel though and your birds
