- The time has finally come for my State of The Collection for 2023! This has been a great year and I was able to experience a wide range of watches from dive watches like the Tudor Black Bay 54 and the Omega Seamaster 300M to the classic time only Tissot Heritage 1938. And the collection itself has been in a state of flux with many watches coming into the collection, many being sold, and many watches are about to be sold. Consolidating the collection is much harder than expected!
At the moment, here are the brands represented in my collection. Tudor, Seiko, Longines, Omega, G-Shock, Oris, Zodiac, Tissot, Dan Henry, Lesablier, and Visitor. Additionally I forgot to mention my Swatch Sistem51's! In the past I have owned many other watches that I have since sold such as Sinn, Hamilton, Fortis, and Nomos alongside micro brands like Zelos and Lorier.
For me, the price and image of a watch does not matter. If a watch makes me happy, it’s a good watch! So in this video, join me as I take you through my collection as it stands right now. After all watch collections continually change and many changes are likely to come as we head into 2024. And since none of this would be possible without all of your support, I’m going to be giving away a yellow dial Citizen Tsuyosa so be sure to stay tuned to find out how to enter the giveaway.
Time to consolidate the collection a bit so here are my watches for sale!

My favorite watch for 2023 is the Seiko Alpinist GMT.
I only have 4 watches, and they all have black dials.
I like the Tsuyosa because of that bold yellow dial 😍
White slim turtle is my fav. Tsuyosa is very slick. Great color.
Yellow is an awesome color no doubt!
I couldn't resist the Brew Metric in Steel when it got restocked during Q1 of 2023 and it has pretty much been my daily companion. I love the vibes coming from the integrated bracelet style of the Citizen Tsuyosa!
My favorite is the Longines spirit Zulu time. I like the Citizen Tsuyosa because it’s shiny and has a gorgeous yellow dial. Yellow is a happy color and I need more happiness in my life! 😊
My fav watch of 2023 is the Tsuyosa because of the integrated bracelet design. Very cool watch.
I love your turtle, i have never seen the reference before. I would want the citizen to add some color and fun to my collection
What a collection! As someone who never sells a watch, I particularly like the fact that you have a story attached to each watch in your permanent collection. I agree that 2023 was the rebirth of Seiko, with the 1968 Land Mechanical at the top of the list for me. I love that yellow dial on your Tsuyosa and it would scratch the Seiko Pogue itch very nicely. The hidden crown just adds to its wearability. Blessings for the Holiday and the New Year!
With the year closing in on us it's always a treat to watch these kind of SOTC videos to see how collectors recap yet another year in the hobby of watch collecting. Great picks TWI! I have a gen 1 Nodus Contrail that I wear to work everyday and I've been looking for more vibrant options lately. The Tsuyosa fits nicely into that category!
Congrats old man . That explains the grey whiskers on the beard. I being an uncle for 9 kids it's nothing short of a miracle that my hair's still on my head. It's mostly white but it's still there. God Bless.
That blacked out Seamaster is my fave but the yellow dial so fun!
Hello TWI. Thanks for the content this year, essential watch community viewing!! My favourite watch of the year has been my YEMA Superman Destro, that I bought following a trip to France. Great to see the Citizen “retrozilla”. I have one as does my 9 year old. I have a new appreciation of Citizen watches after visiting Tokyo recently. The face of the Tsuyosa is striking and traditional at the same time. Would make a great summer daily wearer and a conversation starter! Cheers.
Another great year of videos! My favorite watch of 2023 was the Boldr 3xt collab with Worn & Wound. Love the different color options on the Tsuyosa.
Thanks for the solid content all year round! My personal favourite is the Seiko 5 55th LE this year, the yolky tsuyosa has been on my radar ever since its launched and would be a joy to wear !
Loved the BB54, but also the Casio “Tiffany Blue” hype was fun! I am a big fan of the integrated bracelet and fun yellow pop on the Citizen Tsuyosa. I know I would have lots of fun rocking it!
The iconic speedmaster professional has to be favorite especially with that gorgeous see-through case back. Tsuyosa in yellow is just such a playful watch with its fun dial and integrated design.
Saw many people say how magical the new BB54 fit on the wrist and it could not ring more true. I was lucky that a nearby AD had a few pieces left during the initial buzz and one got allocated to me. It's such a special watch that I will keep for many, many years to come! The sportiness of the Tsuyosa is perfect paired with its charming colour on the dial.
Really enjoyed watching this video as you take us through your collection for 2023. I only have a few in my box and my most worn this year is a Baltic MR01. A dressy and shiny companion on the wrist!! I love dress watches and the Citizen Tsuyosa blends sportiness with elegance very well with its design!
I just made the poor financial decision of getting into watches earlier this year, but it's been a great time discovering channels like yours that help me learn more about the watch world. With only two to choose from so far, my favorite this year has to be my Khaki Field Auto (silver dial) that I picked up just a few weeks ago and I really like that yellow Tsuyosa specifically because of the balance of the eccentric color and simple, clean design.
Cheers mate - glad to see you end 2023 while doing well. Great watches and a well-structured SOTC video. Hope the watches on sale find their next homes soon. I wear my beater dw5610 pretty much everywhere this year. Starting to show some age and signs of wear so I need that fix of shiny bling and bright colours from a watch like the Tsuyosa!
My favorite watch of 2023 is the longines spirit zulu time 39mm. It’s both elegant and refined in its approach and sizing with obvious heritage dating back to the late 1920s. The citizen tsuyosa speaks to me with its integrated aesthetic and visually by bright flash of color with the yellow dial!
The Longines Conquest is my pick for 2023. Beauty, simplicity, class. Pretty much a perfect watch to me.
As is that Citizen Ysuyosa. Simplicity in just a well-done, balance way. Plus, that striking yellow dial is going overboard in such a tasteful way. Beautiful! Please send it to me.
The Tsuyosa is my fav watch in 2023. Integrated bracelet, stunning dial specially yellow and the perfect size. Incredible ❤
Your collection is so wild, i can't wait to see your wrist time stats video 😊
My fav of 2023 is my Seiko ssk orange that accompanied me during my 1 month trip in Asia. So many memories with it!
What i like the most about the Tsuyosa is the pop of color and the unusual crown position for a non-diver watch.
My favourite was definitely the Tudor Black Bay 54. Love the sizing and a throwback to the past. Love the Tsyuosa as the specs to value proposition is insanely good.
This year my fav was the BB54, vintage look with modern spec is the sweat spot for me !
I love the Tsuyosa because the color dial is fun and I love the sporty yet somehow elegant look of it !
What a great video! I love the bit about your Tudor BB54 and how you intend to give it to your niece in the future! My favourite watch this year in 2023 has to be my Tudor Black Bay 58, very sentimental as I bought it for myself after receiving my University Results. It’s already become a travelling companion as I recently went Amsterdam. I love the Tsuyosa Yellow dial as its pop of colour is SO strong that it makes me want to smile when I see pictures of it. Hopefully will get one one day and will definitely be a funky watch to break up my collection of tool watches.
Happy holidays!!
Absolutely love your Pelagos. Always glad to see it in your video. Cheers.
Great collection, TWI!! My favorite release of the year was definitely the Seiko Navigator reissue. Nothing to complain about.
I’ve liked the 70s vibes of the Tsuyosa since it was released and love that yellow dial!!
Thanks for the GAW! My favorite watch of 2023 was my Omega Seamaster Pro - I put it on a Forstner oyster bracelet and that breathed new life into it - I wore it a lot more in 2023 than in previous years 👍
Oh man! My favorite watch this year was the Citizen BN0150, hands down. I bought one after watching your video on it and I love it! That color Tsuyosa caught my eye and is so much fun.
Loving your content, thanks!
Many compliments for the varied and tasteful watch collection !
My favorite watch of 2023 was Christoper Ward’s the Twelve.
I like the Tsuyosa because it’s fun, slick and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion 😎
Thank you for the video TWI. I still wear my SKX009 a ton these days. It has a faded Pepsi bezel and ages like fine wine. I adore the Tsuyosa because its design is simplistic yet timeless, enhanced through its daring choice of colour.
This is my first time watching your channel. Love the Zulu time and the omega seamaster. You can see how beautiful they are, even on video. The Tsuuosa light blue caught my eye last month in a store and immediately got added to my wishlist.😊
favourite this year BB54, just perfect for any occasion and in the rogh lighting the dial and gold shines beautifully. Tsuyosa is all about fun and who would resist that nowadays 💪🏻
First time viewer and now member to your channel. I love your collection. What a great variety. Congratulations on becoming an Uncle. Nice to know you will give her the Tudor Black Bay 54 to her later in her life. That is an incredible watch. I guess the eco-drive is the attraction for my many Citizen watches. That Citizen Tsuyosa in the yellow is a great dress watch and something that scratches an itch for me. I have a Tissot celebrating the Sydney 2000 Olympics, it never misses a beat. Congratulations on the collection I hope i can finally have a dress watch.
Congrats on another amazing year and and my favorite watch is definitely the zulu time I have one myself and collection kinda just turned in a one watch collection because of it and the tsuyosa looks like an amazing summer watch and I just love the look of it
My favorite this year has been my BB GMT. The Tsuyosa has a nice blend of 70s vibes without going too far down the rabbit hole of bad taste, like avocado green refrigerators.
Amazing state of the collection to wrap up the year man. I just counted up to 4 NWAs in 2023 (so one per quarter) with the king among them being the Tissot Sideral in red. Loads of fun with the carbon case & sailing timer design! I'm all about collecting fun watches so seeing the Citizen Tsuyosa with bright colours brings joy to my face! ✨✨
Nice video WI, always appreciate your content. My favorite watch of 2023 has to be the Heuer Skipper, I like the Tsuyosa because its precision and size. Keep up the good work, happy holidays
One watch guy here with an older Seiko SNKL23. An oldie but goldie classic. 👍🏻 The colours on the Tsuyosa keeps growing on me and I feel like I can pull of the Yellow pretty well with my colourful sneakers.
Collection goals! Favorite watch is the seiko marime master 200m gmt, love the design and what it represents. Love tsuyosa design and it's dial color
Thank you The Watch Idiot channel for the grand giveaway! My parents gifted me a Tissot Gentleman for my graduation gift and I have been wearing it since kickstarting my career as a junior banker. The yellow dial on that Citizen caught me eye so much that I want to win it so much!😍
The watch I wore the most this year was the Grand Seiko Shunbun. Love the watch, so lightweight you forget you have it on, until you look down at your wrist and become mesmerized by the dial and smooth second hand. I have been looking at that Tsuyosa in yellow for some time. I have been considering trying an integrated bracelet, and that yellow is so unique. And the bracelet is just a bit different than all the other more affordable integrated watches out there.
I feel you when you mentioned how the Tissot Heritage COSC struck you. It was the same for me and I have the black dial that I wear every so often! The Tsuyosa has a place in my heart because the stick hands and markers combined with the integrated bracelet design presents a compelling aesthetic that resembles the big crown brand.
My favorite watch in 2023 has been the Seiko SSK001 GMT. GMT functionality at a sub-$500 ($400 or less with sales) is an amazing deal. The jubilee bracelet is very well built and my only gripe is the friction bezel. Really love the Tsuyosa’s case profile as well as getting a bulletproof miyota movement with an open case back to check it out!
Love the video! Keep up the good work.
My go to watch this year has been the Seiko SPB147J1. Love the classic / vintage looks it gives, and it’s certainly more versatile then I initially thought. Pairs with so many straps which I have interchanged throughout the year.
The Tsuyosa would be the icing on the cake in my collection! A cool and fun integrated bracelet, which kills two bird with one stone. Have been on a look out for both an affordable fun piece and an integrated bracelet, and I feel this would just complete the puzzle!
Thanks for the GAW! My 2023 watch has got to be my Casio A168 which goes with me wherever I go. The Tsuyosa is my kind of "step-up" from digital to analog and the bright colours pop!
Merry Christmas TWI! Such a generous gesture to host this giveaway just in time for Christmas. I haven't really been able to get the Tissot PRX off my wrist ever since they introduced the 35MM automatics and I got myself the Ice Blue version. The Tsuyosa is next on my list because of the many, many colour options it has which opens up a lot of room for styling!
Thanks a ton TWI and happy holidays! You have a diverse collection most would get jealous of especially me when looking at the Tudor & Omega!! I wore the Zulu Time GMT (blue version) for my travels and also to work this year. Interested to experience the Citizen Tsuyosa for myself considering all the hype surrounding it.
Amazing collection man! Here's to an even more interesting 2024!
My favorite for 2023 has been the new Longines Conquest, such clean and understated looks. I love how Citizen undercut the PRX with the excellent price, while not compromising too much on quality, with the Tsuyosa. Great Collection btw!
I had a modest all Seiko collection and decided to buy my first Swiss timepiece and chose the Longines Spirit 37 with the champagne dial this year. I still love Seiko but the Longines is taking significant wrist time. I just love the yellow tone of the Citizen Tsuyosa, it's so bright and vibrant.
What a great collection! My personal favourite this year has been the BB54. The Tsuyosa has a striking dial colour and it"s overall just a fun watch to wear. Must be nice to have a watch that you don't take too seriously.
The Willard you unexpectedly bought is just pure class. The fit of the cushion case is on another level and I should know because it's my 2023 watch! Happy to see that we share enjoyment in wearing the piece. As for the Citizen, the yellow dial just brings a smile to my face!
Favorite 2023 watch is the Seiko Navigator Timer. I like the Citizen Tsuyosa because of the design and fun color dials. Thanks for the great content! 👍
Well, my good Sir, it's about time. 😁 Merry Christmas and the Happiest and Blessed New Year for you and your family and loves ones.
Merry Christmas, Hombre!!! My favorite watch this year is totally Seiko Alpinist 1959. And I like the Tsuyosa because of the mixture of vibes it gives me, its a neat package
It's a late-2023 release but the Seiko SPB411 is drop dead gorgeous and the Navigator Timer aesthetics is just fantastic. Now I just need a fun summer watch to wear when 2024 rolls over and the Citizen Tsuyosa is an attractive pick...
Great collection.
My favourite Watch of 2023 has to be my omega CM 300 heritage that I wore on my wedding day! Definitely a keeper!
The citizen tsuyosa Looks like the perfect summer Watch, I could see myself enjoying it along with a few beers at a sunny BBQ party next year.
My favorite of 2023 was the Sieko Alpinist GMT. I really like that yellow dial of the Tsuyosa. Happy New Year.
Hey man, thanks for this video and good to see where you’re at. My favourite watch for this year must be the CW Twelve 36mm.
As for the tsuyosa, I just think it has cool and fairly unique style and design cues for an integrated bracelet watch. The mustard yellow dial is pretty unique too!
Love the collection! keep it up!
My favourite watch in the collection is the Omega Speedmaster because of the history and that beautiful movement. I like the Tsuyosa because it is a fun and affordable watch, that yellow dial also helps.
Great video. I loved the new Longines GMT. It is spectacular.
Hello, and thanks for this video. What an amazing collection! So many watches, and so many Seikos into, that it is just impossible to talk about each one! My most worn watches during this year have been my Dan Henry 1970 Automatic (with orange or with black strap) and my MU:N Origine 51 Red Edition. Two really different watches, one diver and one "phase de lune", from two micro brands.
My favourite watch of 2023 is the longines hydroconquest GMT.
I like the citizen tsuyosa not only because it's affordable and arguably the best bang for your buck, but is an elegant mixture of design inspirations from the OP and PRX, all while being it's own watch. Citizen killed it with the colors as well!
My favourite watch is the willard, such a classic design from Seiko... I also like the Tsuyosa because of the integrated bracelet. Very sporty yet timeless design
Been watching your videos for a while and really enjoy your content! My favourite watch of 2023 would have to be the new Longines Legend diver 39mm. I love the punchy yellow of the Citizen Tsuyosa. It would be a wonderful addition to my collection. Thanks for the opportunity!
An inspiring collection. Thanks for the video. My favourite of the year is the limited edition Seiko Alpinist GMT. I like the case profile of the Tsuyosa as it is a little less bulky than 40mm PRX.
Its so fun to hear the stories behind each of the watches in your collection! I'm an integrated bracelet nut who wears a Casio Beside I bought long ago (pretty rare now) so naturally the Tsuyosa is a hit with me as well!
Thanks for the video. Your collection Inspires me to get more of a diversity in my collection. As for my favorite watch of 2023, it would be the Aquastar Deepstar 2 gray dial on beads of rice bracelet. The citizen Tsuyosa would be a perfect addition to my little 'boring' monotone collection of mainly seiko divers.
THE watch of 2023 for me was Timex Marlin chronograph. Timex came up with some great designs, I got this one and I love it.
The best thing about Tsuyosa is dial color, and that yellow is my favorite.
Great video! My favorite watch of 23 was my Hamilton Intramatic, perfect panda dial. The Tsuyosa has such a nice 70s aesthetic, I’d love to have one someday!
That's what I call ending the year on a high note hearing about you becoming an uncle!! I've been stuck in the honeymoon period with my Seitona since I got it earlier this year....its just such a versatile watch. I feel the same way about the Tsuyosa so its really high up on my wishlist as well 🔥
I loooove the Spinnaker Fifty Phantoms. Luckily managed to nab one amidst the chaos and it looks mindblowingly good in person. That one is black so the yellow Tsuyosa helps to fill in the gap of colours in my watch box!
My favourite watch of the year is Longines Spirit Zulu Time blue dial, amazing watch. Why I like the Citizen Tsuyosa: great looking summer/fun watch.
My favorite for 2023 was G-Shock square with a translucent case and bracelet.
The Tsuyosa sounds fun even in the name. Looks casual and vibrant through and through, great for a spark of colour with casual attitude 👌😉
I like Citizen watches for their quartz movements. More often than not, the second hand hits the minute markers. The Tsuyosa will not disappoint. My most used watch is the ARK by SWC.
Lovely collection. My favourite watch of 2023 (so far) has been the Seiko SPB313, which I got after watching your review. I love the size, shape and the overall design is 👌
My fav watch is easily the Seiko 5 GMT SSK003. Bought it on release and wear it daily to track my home timezone as I work abroad. GMTs are super practical! Also integrated bracelet watches just look so hot right now 😆
Your content continues to inspire and entertain. Since your CZcams journey began, I've been an avid viewer. My favourite watch in 2023 is the Seiko Sport 5 in green. The Citizen watch has caught my eye, and I would be thrilled to own one. I adore the Citizen Tsuyosa for its sleek design and durability. Its aesthetics and impressive functionality and vibrant colours make it my top choice.
Nice collection. I would say Tsuyosa is my favourite for 2023! Love love love the yellow colour and the bracelet, recessed crown too.
Nice collection, a couple of real stunners in the mix. For me my favourite for the year has been the black bay heritage 41. As for the Tsuyosa I think you were spot on with that dial colour, love it.
My two favourite watches this year were my daily G-Shock 5610u and my Unimatic U1-EG. I like how the dial pops, some colour and a Citizen would be nice to add to my small collection!
Beautiful costly collection ❤🎉🎉 thanks for sharing with us
Great video- thanks for sharing your collection! My favorite watch of 2023 has probably been the Certina DS Action Diver 38mm in titanium, and I like the Tsuyosa because I feel like an automatic Citizen would bring me full circle from my first watch (an Eco Drive I wore to my wedding).
I really enjoy your videos - please keep them coming. This seems to be a great year for Affordable GMTs. I really like the Traska, but The Jack Mason Dr Pepper collaboration was very cool. The yellow dial on the Tsuyosa is outstanding. Cheers!
A very solid collection.
The Tsuyosa just looks clean and fun and that dial color just really stands out.
My favorite watch I've been wearing this year is the Seiko SPB289 Mystic Forest Alpinist. The dial, case shape, and hands just give me GS vibes and it's a joy to wear.
That's a broad collection which covers a lot of bases. Love your picks and giving backstories on the pieces. I wore my Moonswatch a lot (Jupiter) because its just so light and disappears on the wrist. I also love the Tsuyosa simply because of how sporty it looks.
The Tsuyosa is a great balance of fun and class. My favorite this year was the Escudo Ocean Seacrest, a design with clear inspirations but still its own and with my country's history embedded.
Wow! Great collection. My fav for this year goes to Longines Spirit Zulu. Yellow tsuyosa is a very unique color n have the flexibility to blend in both dress n casual.
My favorite watch this year is my green mojito seiko presage. I just started getting into watches and the presage was my first purchase. Followed by a beautiful used grand seiko. The tsuyosa has very simple and striking dials. Looks very comfortable to wear. Happy holidays watch people.
My favourite watch of 2023 is the Longines Zulu Time 39 mm. As for Citizen, it is one of my favourite brands since my wife gave me an Aquamount in the early 2000s. Love and peace from Spain.
I got my 2nd GS and first premium high accuracy quartz watch, the SBGN005, this year and it is amazing. It made me realize I didn't care if a watch was quartz or not, as long as it is well built and feels premium and boy, does it exceed that. Truly one of the best surprises for me this year and my favorite.
The citizen tsuyosa seems cool as I've always wanted a yellow watch but have always been afraid to pull the trigger 😂
Been subbed for awhile & lovve your channel! Most worn for me has been Seiko SLA051 (Uemura diver). I enjoy the simple sportiness of the Tsuyosa
My most worn watch of 2023 is my Seiko SNKP23. I love the retro design and the square face. The dial look great, especially when paired with my black and orange strap from Vario.
I love the Tsuyosa, especially when it's in a crazy color. The yellow one you have here is just perfect
The Seiko Nagivator Timer SPB411 is my favorite watch this year. I love the Tsuyosa because it seems like a nice GADA watch to me. I adore the distinctive sunburst yellow dial and bracelet, which are both incredibly attractive and perfect for summer. Overall a super fun watch to wear!
Thanks for this end of year Citizen Tsuyosa giveaway TWI. Flamboyant colours are my thing! I have an MOP Zelos Aurora that gets worn so much throughout 2023 which shines a brilliant shade of teal and yellow in the sunlight. That's why I love the Citizen Tsuyosa especially on the Yellow dial!
Favourite would definitely be the seamaster, what a beauty. Can't go wrong with the tsuyosa too, such a classy yet affordable watch.
good luck all and may the luckiest wrist win the tsuyosa ! the 2023 watch award goes to the timex marlin chronograph which has a ton of carrera vibes going for it in my opinion. and the tsuyosa is great because it lets people experience the integrated bracelet feature at such an affordable entry point !
