RB engines are very sensitive (compared to 2j) and their weak point is the oiling delivery system. Not everyone can build them right.
@MIDZ hence them going with a 2JZ style oil pump gear, oil filter relocation and Peterson Fluid Systems external pressure regulator… I get what you’re saying about the need to be meticulous when sticking with a Nissan oiling system and I would understand the relevance of needing a more experienced builder if they had used stock piling components but they straight removed all of those issues from this build going to the aforementioned parts…

What I like the most about this build is that the car looks totally stock from the outside. You wouldn't be able to tell that it has that much power until you fire it up and make someone eardrums explode
This has been my favorite build by TRC by far. When i saw that 1st vid of Javier rollin up in the skyline i just knew we were all going to be in for a real treat! And so far no disapointments!

Good job boys. Love to see the younger generations taking over the torch. A lot of the mechanics who knows how to work with all these older cars in my area are all in their 50s and some in their 60s with no younger generations to pass the torch to. And the new generation mechanics are all trained to deal with new generation cars which you practically can't even see the engine even after you open the hood.

More than any normal human can afford lol. My R32 is not even a sequential(transmission costs more than half of my entire engine build) I'm building am 800 whp car and the total cost is beyond what most people could possibly imagine, I bought my 32 GTR before they doubled and even tripled in price for just over $20K , and I have well north of that into the engine and single turbo conversion alone, before we even talk about the cost of a single $1 into the transmisson upgrades, clutch, etc. Here's a perspective...the labor amont alone to rebuild my engine is only about $400 more thn the triple disc clutch I need to handle this level of HP...and I'm around 1000 crank hp..nevermind 1200!
The hyper tune intake mani, 12 ID injectors, PHR fuel system with triple 525’s hyper tune IC, Precision 7685 with dual WG’s and BOV plus hyper tune manifold with the egt sensors is 15k worth of shit lol.. the spool rotating assembly is quite cost effective for what you ultimately get out of it, thanks to AUS>USD exchange rates but still not cheap at all, headwork had to be a grip, been there done half of all this with a 2JZ build I started after an evo build and the shit stressed the hell out of my pockets… not to mention it’s still incomplete lol 😂
Yeah this is easily a 50k build not including car, and that’s assuming he got the TRC hookup on parts and labor, plan for 5-10k extra without homie hookups or doing labor yourself
