- On this episode we’re back with Larry from Drag International, we’re normally drooling over some of the fastest 2JZ powered cars at Drag Int... but this time we’re featuring an insanely fast Nissan R34 GTR V-Spec II. This car is likely one of the fastest R34 GTR’s in the USA, running a built RB26 running Manley Internals, ported/built head, 7685 turbo, factory 6 speed trans, 40psi of boost making over 1100awhp. This car produces a symphony of sounds and has the raw power to back it up. Enjoy the video!

DC5 _i_ DRIVE I live on the east coast Canada and I’m not 100% on the rules on skylines in the US ? Is it something to do with importing or is it a right hand drive thing ....? Because that would suck I would think if we had them all over the place here y’all would definitely down there.
@@TheRealWiz902 I think it at least partially has to do with crash safety standards as well, I'm almost certain that was the case with JDM Evo's gens VII and earlier, so it may be a factor with GTR's as well.

The sound of The 2.6 RB26 is awesome. Yet when I heavily N/A modded my 2.8 VR6 people in MKIV Supras, Evo's, etc. would come up to me and tell me they wished their car could sound like Chewbacca and a Lion fighting it out. It was nice to get that kind of respect from people who own cars that could eat my car as a minor entree for dinner.

@@subieguy2075 Thank you. I loved how Subies sounded when they had uneven headers on them and someone would put an exhaust up/down pipe. Sounded rowdy as hell. I was told Subaru stopped putting Uneven headers on their cars, is this true? The 12v VR6's sound comes from the fact it is a 15 degree angle engine. The + You can fit a 6 cylinder in a small engine bay. The - a 15 angle flows horribly and the engine is what I believe is called an "under square" design which also limit's its N/A performance. However the internals of the VR6 were originally designed to be a Turbo diesel 6 and at the last minute it was changed to a gas engine. Which means that its internals are forged and have handled 450whp without having to change anything in the engine. The transmission, axles, half shafts, etc. well that's a different story.

This might be the most perfect RB26 sound I’ve ever heard. It’s like Brian’s skyline from 2 Fast 2 Furious but even better if that’s possible. Imagine a car like this making an appearance in Fast and Furious again👀

2J's are amazing. No one is trashing them. The RB is just different though. It sounds like it is legitimately mad at something.
