I think that 1. Midas runs "The Syndicate" 2. Klombo was created to make it look like the reality biome was "natural" 3. Klombo escaped when the war started 4. Klombo's were used to make the reality biome 5. Jones is from "Save the World" mode's universe 6. The new map could be the zero point terraforming the map so the chrome could not consume the zero point
Something tells me Midas has a bigger part to play in the storyline, bigger then we can imagine
I hope so Midas is still the most interesting character in this game

Here's a Tip: the herald has a huge weakness. When she summons wolves, you can just run away and they’ll despair and she’ll go back to doing her idle animation without healing. Doing this over and over let’s you cheese her so easily so long as you have a decent amount of ammo.

My theory is that Midas will have a big part to play in getting rid of the chrome seeing as I cant think of another way to defeat it then simply having Midas just touch it. The aftermath could lead to a golden island or a golden version of chrome that still consumes everything. Not sure hpw they will save the seven though
Midas can't remove chrome. Midas skins cant infect Evochrome weapons with gold, ice or shadow. Because as evochrome levels up, the gun becomes more and more chrome. So I don't entirely think hes the solution for this reason

Midas might be the solution to chrome, the chrome spreads silver over anything it touches and midas turns anything he touches to gold, they both have a coloured outline when taking over something and if midas touched the island it probably would become chrome so maybe epic will release a unique map that after u finish all the quests on it u can't play on it anymore and it is to get midas before he is eaten by a shark, or the chrome source is a corrupted midas

Theory: The Cube Queen and The Herald are sisters and that's why they are so similar. The cube queens armor even looks like it was made from chrome.
Theory 2: The loopers have a unique ability to respawn/reboot people, thats why the cube turned blue because we revived it
I think the herald created klombo and the seven killed klombo to avoid from the herald coming as the herald could probably sense klombo and finally found the zero point.

Got an interesting theory for ya Tommy, though it's probably a helluva stretch.
The Nothing is an "all consuming darkness".
As far I know, the first reference of "The Nothing" is in the movie The Never Ending Story in which the main "villain/entity" is known as The Nothing.
We also see (or rather hear) another reference in the Evanescence song "Bring Me to Life" where a line is "save me from the nothing I've become". So, what is another way of saying that lyric? "Empty" or "hollow".
Since we're all painfully aware of Donald Mustard's love of wordplay and extravagant easter eggs, AND rumors that the next anime collab is Bleach, which is getting a revival with Thousand Year Blood War soon, (and considering we just had a Dragonball collab to celebrate DBS: Super Heroes) I'd wager it's a safe bet to say that "The Nothing" (while its own unique entity in Fortnite) is at the VERY LEAST a clever nod towards the "rumored" Bleach collab.
OR it could be a tease to getting a Never Ending Story collab.
Personally, I hope it's Bleach, but we'll just have to wait and see.
I hope there's more to the story for Midas.

My theory is that the IO are actually trying to help us stop the seven freeing the zero point. I mean think, every time the IO is defeated and the seven free the zero point, the island is destroyed

With something you did a few days ago with Midas makes me believe he is the key to the Herald's end. Since his golden touch has no effect on the evochrome weapons, like it does with everything else, could he stop the Herald's plan?

It would be a neat "twist" if the dimension Agent Jones if from is actually Fortnite: Save the World.
Also, while I am not to big of a Midas fan, I do believe he will make a return. The last place we saw him were a set of Golden Pillows inside the camper at The Joneses, however they and the mattress they sat on disappeared when Season 4 rolled around. We also got a random wallpaper of Midas' ice variant and a few of his allies battling against something throwing ice at them. So there might be a chance that Midas is on the new island and has been laying low, but is now has left upon the arrival of The Herald and the Chrom infecting the island. Whether he would make a surprise return during the event or would come back as a major character next season is debatable, however you can't deny that Midas' Golden Touch would be an effective way to stop the chrome(if the chrome is affected by it).
6:04 btw, that easter egg of the cubes at Jones' island was also in Skye's room in c2s2. But in an area of the room usually covered by menus (I haven't managed to find an image or video of it from that time that shows the table)
Now... why Skye had a blue cube nightlight I have no idea.

Looking at the definition of Asteria, I think it could be possible that the island will come to life next season. Perhaps it will be different parts of the island fighting for control. (Chrome, pure, cube and perhaps a seperate darkness.)

My theory is that the chrome is gonna evolve and take up the entire map but the paradigm and jones are gonna team up with slone and find some way to stop the chrome

I think it would be cool if the red cube tied in with chp. 1 season 7. I feel like the story of the ice king and the prisoner just dropped off, and there are still so many things that need to be answered about it.

Ok guys remember when we decode the message in season x and it says “the nothing is now inevitable etc. and in this Seasons battle bass on page 2 the record disk has the heralds face on it and it is called (nothing is inevitable). tying in with the black hole in season x. I think midas will be apart of the live event at the end of the season seeing as his ability to turn anything gold could combat the chrome therefore solidifying it.
I know where Midas is: I was landing at the joneses inside the trailer next to the poi but while inside I saw solid gold pillows so could Midas be hiding at the joneses

In the loading screen for pride month you can see Midas in the background so I think he is still out there hiding in one of the bunkers underneath the map and I think that the bunker door is going to open up this season so get ready

my personal headcannon is that the chrome is similar to the cubes in that it itself is good but the herald is controlling it similar to the cube queen and the cubes. that could mean that all of the 7 excluding jones and the paradigm are in the statue bunker. i say that the foundation went in and used the chrome to bring the rest there but the paradigm flew away.
I'm down for more of Midas he's literally Fortnite's best character

I have a theory that Paradigm's reality-659 might be the one that Cuddle Team Leader went to and returned from as Mecha Cuddle Master (June 2021 crew pack). Her loading screens are pretty neat and have several now familiar things in them like The Foundation's crest and the MLEM emoticon from c2s7. It's a very futuristic tech looking place and in one screen there are even futuristic motorcycles (hovering?). Motorcycles were leaked as an upcoming vehicle by Hypex during the recent summer season.
Im confused why noone is still tryna figure out the mystery when the foundation says to jonesy, "Why does she keep making me save you?" in the Ch2 S8 live event. Is there like someone watching or supervising the Seven?

May I point out Midas golden touch is similar to when you have the crome effect and crome guns are the only ones not effected by his effect I sense a connection

its because the evochrome weapons use a custom wrap, like a lot of exotics in game and jules's drum gun, which is why midas cant use the golden touch on them, it cant override the wraps those weapons have
try using midas on some exotics and jules' drum gun, they wont turn gold

I think with the bunker door under the foundation statue, I think it'll be similar to the chapter 2 bunker, we've wander what it would be for ages, just turned out to be another io base, I think with this one it'll just be another seven base
my theory on the cubes, purple and gold are under control of the last reality, purple being lesser cubes and gold being more powerful, blue is the default and red is overcharged, if a cube is red, it's unstable and dangerous
I think this could hint to a new rarity in the game
i think midas will come back and a new event which is midas vs. herald but in the end midas get consumed by the chrome and herald will turn to gold.

Maybe Asterisa is a version of Apollo map. You know how it looks like the cube queen is in her bubble on a island near ours? Cube Queen might make an appearance to help the Herald, we might have to flip the island again, or maybe it’s like The End (C 1 S X)event and we will get a new version of Chapter 3 island. I do think The Last Reality will return for this event though

The Red Cube might belong to the Cube King, who as we know is the Origin. He might use it in the Chapter 3 season 4 live event, (since we know that there will be one) to defeat the herald and the chrome.

What i think is that every chapter we always have a villain (excluding Chapter 1)
Chapter 2 = Cube Queen
Chapter 3 = The Herald
Chapter 4 = Triarch Nox
These three individuals are part of the nothing and we might be getting and An End Event for Chapter 4 Revolving around Triarch nox so my theory is in chapter 5 we might have to face all three if them with The Seven and IO on our team

I've noticed something about fortnite recently
the ice king wanted to cover the map in ice
the cube queen wanted to cover the map in cubes
and the herald wants to cover the map in darkness/chrome
The Nothing came from never ending story and will be beaten back by Atreyu and Falcor after that we will find out Fortnite was just a book.
The Nothing was talked about in STW main storyline Canny Valley Act 3 released in 2018. It goes further back than you think.

Insane Theory: What if the next chapter a lot goes down and so chapter 4 is just creative 2.0 and in that there are the other chapter’s islands and more. So it is the end of the actual story line. It all adds up! 🎉
The nothing I predict, could be dark energy. For example, The Kevin the cube used dark energy and used dark ritual words. I speculate That this is dark energy tons of it consuming the Island. The chrome could be its “first stage”. Just a prediction though.
Fortnite should destroy the map entirely and bring something similar but not quite right for one it super realistic but it’s still a loop and drop out a bus no blood there’s shields but it’s designed like a mini world map based on what they thought it looked like in the 1600’s

Since we are going to have more Marvel characters coming could we possibly see that the Paradigm is a snap shot of Captain Marvel? In the Avengers Captain Marvel left earth and the Avengers to Seek out civilizations in need of help. She could have come across John Jones, the Foundation, or found her way onto the island were a snap shot was born.
