As a new Fortnite fan I'm happy to learn the history behind it, I've been playing it and uploading videos to my channel, but I never thought there was a story. I always believed it was pure random madness.

I mean the storyline is kinda a joke at this point. Like they really brought galactus into the storyline just so they could make money off a marvel collab. Also they are just adding random stuff into the storyline rn and its kinda just something that no one talks about or cares about. Thats probably why u never heard about it.

So since we need gold to fight chrome, Midas actually plays one of the biggest characters in the entire story. That’s so sick considering he’s always been considered dead ever since C2S2, can’t wait to see how he returns

Is it just me or they added their own fan canon to the Canon to make the Canon make sense? 😂
I'm especially talking about the Midas ghost vs shadow part and everything that surround it. I'm pretty up to date with the lore and never before had I heard what they said in thsi video about it. I think it would be an honest thing to do to specify that those parts were added to try and make the lore make sense but that they aren't actually Canon.

I was under the impression that Midas instructed chaos agent to run shadow while Midas ran ghost, that way the i.o would be distracted by the ghost v shadow and not notice Midas building the storm breaker device

So from what I’m gathering , in this live action event , we’re going to potentially get Midas (idk if confirmed dead canonically) and geno(if he pieces him self back together) to stop the herald . Dam , this event going to go crazy
midas isnt dead, he is alive canonically
You always manage to deliver on these storyline videos in order to make everyone aware of the Fortnite lore in a cohesive and understandable way, great vid Tommy!
surprised you fit this into 14 minutes. It felt longer, though maybe thats the info density. I wonder if they could keep this going forever? Though if they resolve the story at the end of each chapter and can pull out new ones like the Herald to up-end the world like she did, I guess they dont have to worry about it.

Personally, I am with the Imagined Order. Even if you’re with the seven, Slone didn’t really leave us to die. She killed us while we were in the loop, which means we would get resurrected.
Slone created more plot then any other villain she was a crazy good villain if u can even call her that, i hope we see snapshots of her to create more

Very good video, one of my favourite moments on Fortnite was to the end of Chapter 1 Season 3, when in the last weeks before Season 4 the small meteor fragments started to fall down. (So kinda story related)
I was hiding in a factory with the rest of my squad, and as we had just killed someone outside one of my friends decides to make a run for his loot, only to be hit directly by a meteor. He died, and my other friend picked up his loot without a second thought.
(Very strange though as the meteors only used to damage builds iirc, so he might have been sniped or blown up at the perfect time of impact, but at the time we assumed it was the meteor and all laughed at his luck.)
Also at 5:52 it’s ironic, considering the IO betrayed us

The whole thing about Midas finding Oro and becoming cursed is just a theory. Remember that they meant for us to assume that Oro was Midas's undead corpse!
The only downside is the chrome vs gold part was unfortunately wrong, I was so excited for a Midas return
T5G may be catching on to a possible lore detail that we not only encountered the nothing but as well saw through their perspective. In the Ch3 season 3 trailer, the Herald watch over the island through a sphere. The Byte converses through Herlad's group through chrome TVs. Near the conclusion of the End event, there is a subtle moment where the screen closes out like a 19th-century tv. The style of TVs in Fortnite is a similar design. Box-like shape, with antennas. We could see the TVs in Fortnite as a window through each reality, although the only side that can see both worlds are Chrome.
Another lore video to binge and memorise by heart.

The IO: Loses control of the Zero Point

Just what we all need to understand the event!
You actually said something wrong. The IO were in fact in control of the Zero Point in the Primal season .The Spire guardians and the Spire assassin were one of the seven divisions of the IO.
For example of other divisions , there are
1 The Inner Circle
2 The Spire
3 The Doomsday division (mentioned by Jones in C3 S2)
The Spire was actually made of *Chromium* as revealed by the epic games news webpage announcing the chapter 2 season 6 super level styles. Interesting information to know

I do have a few questions.., if the loopers respawn after every match, why would it have been bad for the loopers to die during the Operation Skyfire event??
whole thing resets and you can't come back from that
I think it's because The I.O disabled the loop meaning of someone died they die forever

I honestly think Fortnite’s lore is the most underrated of any game: the buildup itself changed the very nature of multiplayer video games, and it’s beyond satisfying to arrive at answers having been here from the start
and the fact its a battle royale makes it a lot more special too
this the first time I've seen a fortnight youtuber actually get to a point and not take 5 million years
I love how its this guys job is just game theory but with one game it’s too entertaining
I started in Season 3 and stopped playing a lot in Season X. Crazy how the lore began in Season 4 and I appreciate their creativity.

Only way to fight chrome is with gold? Plot twist Midas shows up outta nowhere since he's been in hiding for years he's scruffy and worn wears a torn cape with a hood that he takes of as he walks out of his cabin in the woods but but more powerful than ever and saves the day 😮

to make a small comment, in chapter 1 the zero point was chilling under loot lake and there was no underside just 1 island. When the season x event happened the zero point reorganized everything on the ch1 island into 2 halves making the 2 islands. So pretty much the chapter 2 island and chapter 3 island and the whole flip side 2 islands stuff was created by the zero point after season x
This also means we can’t ever go back to the chapter 1 map because technically we’ve been playing on bits of it the whole time
The way I always thought of it and I don’t think I’m right on this one, was the chapter 1 island and chapter three island were the sandwich and then when the black hole happened it reorganized chapter 1 into chapter 2. So now chapter 2 and 3 are the sandwich, but that’s just my opinion
@@DudioStudio nah cuz then it wouldn’t make sense how some pois from chapter 1 island are in only either 2 or 3’s island.
Like loot lake, volcano + sunny steps, season X greasy are only on chapter 3 map while retail, and salty are only chapter 2
maybe, i don't really know.. i do think the chapter 3 map is the chapter 1 map but i also think that things like the cube from season X was reorganised into the chapter 2 map, and thats how kevolution started
But Chaos Agent never betrayed him? I assume it was always the point; Meowscles and Chaos Agent were both GHOST and SHADOW. Midas just led both parties. Everything else about that section was right though, except we dunno if Loop Breaker truly is Midas yet.

The main reason that I believe the theories that the cube queen is still alive is that before the chapter 2 live event, I saw a Fortnite add on CZcams saying that it was a message from the cube queen, saying that see survived and was still alive.

I took a break from Fortnite to play MW2/Warzone. After a few weeks away and now today jumping back into Fortnite. I can honestly say I enjoy the gameplay alot more in Fortnites BR mode.

I came here, knowing there was some form of narrative to the royale game mode, but I was expecting to learn stuff like how Cuddle Team Leader's suit was made or why Meowscles is siblings with Meow Skulls. But then I start hearing about all these alternate realities and other worlds and how the island has the zero point, and the funny cube being a super weapon in a vast, endless army of them, and- and-
I thought this was the game with the funny shooty buildy royale gameplay, not some vast story that's bigger than the entire marvel universe-

Didn't think this game had lore until I started seeing characters return
There are so many story holes like. The Singularity was a pilot of the the bear. Epic just changed it and pretend it never happened. The second one, what happaned with zero point after the mothership extracted the zero point from the stone.

Even the last storyline was so, Marvelous... The smartest characters, the seven. We're slurped by the chrome but paradigm just stands there over there and didn't nothing, even the chrome did not catched her.. She went through the chormenado and 0 effect, it was kinda cringe...
