yea i feel like its going to be atleast 5 more years before they even think of doing that. the game literally brings in 100s of millions of dollars every season. mainly thru battlepasses. if they dont have a storyline, they cant sell characters in battlepasses so all that profit out the window

I don't know if Fortnite's story will ever actually end. I think the idea of Fortnite is to live in the moment, and even if the storylines connect from season to season, I think the gameplay and what changes come are more important to them. Even when this ends, it's Fortnite, a new threat will take its place.

I hope it never ends, no matter what anyone says I have to say fortnite is definitely one of the best games out there. It connects many worlds in one, brings friends together, has fun ass events and concerts from time to time. If fortnite ever ends that will suck, but I don't think it ever will.
I actually have a different theory for the event of Season 4. I'm thinking since we have the whole Light V Darkness, then maybe to defeat the Chrome, it must be consumed by something related to light, and that something I believe could be the Golden Touch. I think that by the end of the season, Midas could come back snd fight the Herald with Gold, and both the Chrome and Gold could cancel each other out, turning the island back to normal
Midas can't turn the chrome weapons to gold, suggesting they are more powerful than the golden touch

As someone who never really played Fortnite until about 2020-2021 and could never understand the entire point of it's confusing story because it was originally supposed to be about defending your location against zombies instead of a BR, I appreciate the time and effort you put into explaining this mass confusion.

Crazy theory, what if Asteria is the center of both the islands, like the in between space we saw during the flip event. This could make a "sort" of sense considering that Apollo and Artemis sort of "grew" out of the middle. I don't know, it's kinda stupid. But also, Dragons or Griffins could play in here, just like the flying animals mentioned in their newest video.

@@stevothestreamer They had to have space to build it though. And the stone pillars connecting the island were definitely natural, mankind can't build something that perfect. So the area existed BEFORE it was the IO's HQ. It's not possible for it not to have.
Crazily enough, The Nothing was mentioned in STW in the mission “Signal Search.” It was described as a depression everywhere so that could connect to BR
The forgotten skin "Infinity" might be important too. There are a few reasons.
1. When mentioning "The Nothing", "everything" is usually included. Infinity means everything.
2. There have been many drawings of Infinity on cave walls, with the Zero Point usually near.
3. In C3 S3, in some of the reports, they would mention "infinity". Seems like quite a specific word?
4. He seems to be made of rifts.
5. Some parts of his suit are the EXACT (LITERALLY EXACT) same colour as some of The Seven's.
6. He can be seen in the backgrounds of both loading screens and the comics.
(Another one I noticed, you can see a hand sticking out of the Zero Point in some of the comics, which seems to be very similar to that of Infinity's.)
With how the storyline has been going so far it has been making me believe that we might approach the end of this chapter faster than expected. Knowing that The Nothing has been teased 3 years ago it most likely is a really huge deal

Theory: there will be a time travel based season (good time to release a back to the future skin, maybe as the secret skin) and throughout the seasons story quests we have to bring the I.O. back and make a truce with them, and stop the bad things from happening, as said during this video the evil comes out when the I.O. loses control

I suspect that we're about to have stw finally connect to br via this story as well. The Nothing was first talked about in Canny Valley act 3 which came out late in 2018! The first mission I know about where it came up was one that had storm corruption in the mission that is very similar to what the sideways rifts were doing last year. Just without the bubble. The cube was also in stw at least twice. Once in Lok's Tales of Beyond, and again in an event quest line where they broke time and had to ask for the cubes help to repair their reality in exchange for a dark ritual. Lok's tale first ran in 2019 and I never thought I'd see it again when it didn't rerun in 2020 but they ran it last year... just before the cubes reappeared in BR.
Interesting hypothesis. It would explain the aura of zero point energy surrounding the black hole, keeping the balance of light and dark. Perhaps Genō was not the true villain after all and there is someone higher than even the cube queen and herald
I think she is the Herald for the last reality. Makes sense also why would they end the storyline with a villain that we met a season ago instead of a villain we met three chapters ago kev/ last reality.

I don’t think the storyline will ever truly end, because all Fortnite wants to do is keep making money, and the storyline of this game is a huge thing that keeps gamers interested in Fortnite.

We could possibly be the saving grace, from what has been seen we players are definitely someone important in the story since we can impact it. We are the player, the player in a game chooses what they do and in return decides their fate. Maybe this could be our final choice, or just one of many more.

as a dev stated on the reddit the season theme would be time travel, they didn't say which season though, I believe that geno might undo all the work he has done by controlling the zero point and send us all back to the original island, from there he will fix his mistakes with his newfound youth and knowledge, fixing balance for good.....

I don’t think that The Foundation and Origin died from the chrome because if that were the case, us as player would not be able to turn chrome or even heal in it. Maybe the chrome is some sort of substance that freezes you like ice, but definitely won’t kill you.
It's up to Jones, Paradigm, Amie, and possibly Geno? It's gonna be a tough ride for them for sure
nah ima be honest there aint no way chapter 3 is ending this quick, chapter 1 and 2 all had a similar length ( actual days not seasons as chapter 2 and I think 1 were extended )
Chapter 1 and 2 were like 2 years long and by the time this season ends it will have been about a year since this chapter started so we have about a year and possibly 2 months

I feel like the nothing is the area we saw during the chapter 1 season 6 event when Kevin exploded we saw literally nothing and nothing was inevitable with everything we had been taken away from us for a spilt second of time and it might of been a reality with nothing remaining
Anyone else think that the rift above Loot Lake could be the return of Kevin? The last time the house was in the middle of Loot Lake, it had a cube under it. It's possible that either the Zero Point brought it back to fight the Nothing, or the Last Reality is attempting to get back on the island.

Don't forget Shadow and ego they both make sense the cube Queen is the ego and the altar is The Herald. You can actually see the queens face. It's like Shadow versus Ghost.
Video idea: one day before the live event for this season make (or publish) a story line video but it starts at the beginning of fortnite the first ever event that made the first ever rift causing all of this to unfold piece by piece.
I think that Asteria is the chapter 1 map since the code names for chapter 2 and 3 maps are Apollo and Artemis who were born on Asteria (Came from Asteria). Since both chapters 2 and 3 have POIs that the chapter 1 map had (they came from it) I think this could possibly mean that we are going back to chapter 1 map.

I don’t think the rest of The Seven are dead, as if you run away from The Herald when she has the wolves out they’ll blop away like Origin, Scientist, and Visitor did. Making he think they have more been kidnapped than killed.

When the scientist start to reform as a chrome person this could be a hint to the next fortnite mares when after you die you get respawned as a chrom person similar to when you could turn into a ghost after dying in fortnite mares 2020

A lot of this does make sense. but I severely doubt the chapter is ending is ending so soon, let alone the story. My guess is that Jones and Amie are gonna find a way to delay the Herlad's plan long enough for them to track down the Seven, (which is probably what the next season will focus on)

As the Herald is like the T1000, I think there could be 2 outcomes.
1) All of the Chrome joins in the center of the map and creates a HUGE Herald.
2) All the Chrome creates a huge Chrome Stormking* and he spawns Chrome Husks like in the next Crew Pack loading screen.

Just a thought. The seven are still apart of the chrome but they will coalesce in different parts of the island we either have to free or find them or they are released like we are after a chrome splash. The 7 and IO are now apart of each other coming to a greater understanding of everything

Also the Chapter 1 Map is named after the Greek Goddess of Wisdom, Athena. It makes sense because we first learned about the story on that map and it gave us new wisdom.
Asteria, from latin "aster" meaning star. In a previous video you mentioned the Paradigm saying something like "hope lies in the stars" or something similar. My prediction is a new map being "sci-fi" themed

My theory is at the end of the season Midas will come back and help paradigm, and it will be a chrome vs gold battle
I do hope they end the main story really well, because it needs end in a war. Chpt 4 (which will probably last about 4 or 6 seasons possibly, I don’t know) might be a prequel to the story explaining how the seven and IO were made and the zero points origin.

The movie the never ending story actually talks about the nothing and how it did consume Fantasia. It is only after the nothing consumes everything that the story begins again.
This Fortnite storyline is ending yes, but as we all know Fortnite there will be another storyline someday we will just have to wait and be patient after this one *ends.*
Asteria is not a new Chapter, it was confirmed but a reliable leaker. But what if is a jump back to an earlier time or a jump to paradimes reality. Just for a week or so . Then we come back to the current map. That would be unexpected and cool
It could happen this season or even next season. We start on the new map and we think we are in a new Chapter but it is just a prequel make or other reality and then we jump back after a few weeks to our current map. Almost like the first few weeks of no build :)
Both the maps can morf together to create one big map half nothing and half everything .

She says she has an interdimensional fever plus nothing was teased way back in save the world a quest called search for the nothing Also, makes no sense most of the characters from Are from stw why don't question or remember about their home they might forced to forget about their family or their background.

I don't exactly remember but it has been deconfirmed multiple times that next season is not a new chapter and the map code name is likely for creative 2.0

if the next chapter will be a background story thing, then most probably we would be loosing against the "nothing" and have to travel back in time using a machine the Paradime creates or already has to go and warn the seven and Geno about what will happen in the future or maybe we bring them (in particular YOUING Geno) to defeat the villain
Maybe the zero point has light and darkness and the darkness is slowly creeping out and the zero point is trying to contain the dark but everytime it’s exposed the dark has a chance to escape
I hope we can chose seasons next update season. Like we can go back to season 1 or 2 or 4 or 9 and we can chose to go back to chapter 1 or 2 and we can find people playing servers in chapter 1 and 2

Something that I realized when I watched the Chapter 2 season 8 trailer is that the Cube Queen Says the following: And know that when we are done.... Only, nothing will remain
my theory of chapter 4 is that we wont be going to the past but a new reality or reality's my theory is that theres multiple fortnite universes just like real life. like a empty space of nothing full of bubbles just like the full preview of the island we saw where we could see the chapter 1 island and the chapter 2 island. so i think we will be rifted/transported to a different reality which could be set from the past/future or are fortnite universe/island could be collided with another one but thats my theory like the real life multiverse theory
I think the chrome might be a way for a terminator 2 collab like a mini boss in the chrome that would be sick anyway
Maybe we (the loopers) have a power that was given to us by the I.O. manipulating the Zero Point, reviving and rebooting, because it's so strange that we can revive a teammate who is really weak and we just revive them by using our hand, and when they die they drop a reboot card and we reboot them by going to a reboot van but what's so strange about this is that we were able to reboot a cube when the cube energy died and when we rebooted a cube it turned blue like how the reboot cards and vans look showing the I.O. gave us the ability to revive and reboot teammates, also when the cube turned blue it made the liquid underneath it into slurp and when it was on the island it fueled up your sheild with slurp so the reboot ability we got from the I.O. was also made with Slurp Co. And slurp not only fuels up your sheild but also your health bar so when you get rebooted you have full health but no sheilds so it gives you only enough slurp for your health bar, wich also makes sense why the reboot card and van are blue.
imagine if as the chapter 4 map comes the island flips AGAIN accept it goes back to either the 1st or 2nd chapters map 😳
I feel like Fortnite storyline as cannot all over the place with its villains one season it’s the sideways next season of the audio and I constantly just wiping out characters😅
Does it mean that if the story line ends so does the game? Or is the game now just going to be some random other battle Royale game. I hope not because the storyline is the only thing keeping the game alive and without it the game just might aswell be gone for good. 😢
I have a theory: maybe the nothing is the soul, mind or true embodiement of the real geno. And i think the chrome is like a puppet. Geno is controling the chrome and the herold is a puppet too. Geno's soul controling everything even the zero point
