This is top of my list. I've never heard the originals, but I never get sick of listening to this. Just stunning and beautiful.
Since you're not familiar with the show, it's probably important to note that Mitch is covering the songs done by the female singers on the show, and Scott is covering the fellows. This was a promo for Season 2 of the series. Fox commissioned them to do the promo. There are no Superfruit originals to this medley. It's all songs from the show. The Promise was Superfruit's last official video. The only reason the album cover for Future Friends is there afterward was that they added some old material to it.
Don't have to know the show to love this. It's absolutely beautiful.
Happy Little Pill and Guy.exe are good ones too from them.
Mitch and Scott are best friends from web they were 10 years old. Both played in Broadway musical Annie. And in Broadway Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.
They became roommates and decided to start Superfruit. A show where they do all kinds of crazy funny things and singing every now and then.
They stopped a few years ago when Scott moved in with his boyfriend (now fiance).
There are a bunch of their videos on their channel. He prepared to laugh your butt off😹
Let's be honest here. Superfruit, Pentatonix, whatever they cover is a upgrade. Right? This is particularly beautiful.
the five months ago video was actually a reupload, they really haven't put anything out in three years. they were very active on superfruit in the early pentatonix years while the two of them were living together which made it a lot easier to put out content, but they've since had to grow up and move on! they are still very good friends though
Scott sounded so amazing in this. I adore his mid range. It's so soulful. And of course mitchy what can I say that hasn't already been said. ANGEL VOICE

These 2 are so friggin talented..I can hardly stand it..THIS IS MY FAVORITE MEDLEY THEY DO..Dont know any of the songs..but WOW!!..I come back and listen to this many times..Wish Mitch and Scott would do more..😊
A really amazing song that showcases each of their voices is Goodbye From Lonely. It is on their Future Friends album. You get to hear them harmonize together throughout the song. Their voices together are awesome. They were made to sing together!. Loved this medley and your reaction. 💕💕
Music from the show Empire. From the sounds of it, great music! Or they just made the songs sound great! This is one of my favorites of theirs and I went into it not knowing a single song! Now I love the tunes just because of this! Funny how that works! Thank you for your reaction to these two! "Oh boy!" The boys have grown up! They don't live together any longer. Scott has Mark and Mitch has his own endeavors. It is very sad, but they have both moved on from Superfruit. It was a fun project while it lasted. They just aren't those two carefree goofballs any longer (well, Scott is still a goofball and a Tiktok queen). :( You're the best!

I never saw the show either but that doesn’t stop me from loving this medley. One of my top favorites from Superfruit. They used to be roommates so living together gave them the time to create Superfruit. They both bought their own places which pretty much is what ended any new Superfruit videos. At least we have the old ones to go back and watch.
I'd never heard of Empire before this medley, so it took me awhile to get around to it. They blend really well in this one, it's beautiful.

Dunno if they'll ever make new content again. They're busy with PTX sure, and Mitch has his side project. They're just not attached at the hip like they were, which isn't a good reason to not keep superfruit going but 🤷♀️

This is my favorite non-original medley. Their voices are just to melded. Thanks for doing this!
I think their recent original album, The Lucky Ones, included some songs that would have been Superfruit if they were still producing stuff. Coffee in Bed is a good example. Mitch and Scott just don’t spend as much time together anymore since they stopped living together. It was quite an era! The more recent post was in response to their song GUY.EXE going viral on TikTok, I believe.
I’ve noticed when you say that Mitch is singing in a different tone it’s because he’s singing in his chest voice. The voice type you like from Mitch is done in his head voice or falsetto. Men can go into falsetto but not many have as pretty of a tone as Mitch does when he’s up there. There’s also something called mixed voice which is a mix of chest and head voice. Mitch is one of the best at being able to switch through without hearing a break in his voice. He’s learned where his break is from chest to head and he’s mastered how to do it seamlessly. A perfect example of it starts at 5:05 in this video. He starts the line in his chest voice then goes into his falsetto beautiful head voice and sings with the angelic tone that so many love.

I’ve never seen one episode of Empire, never heard these songs before I first heard this and it’s still probably my very favorite (this and the Beyoncé) of the Superfruit medleys. Their voices sound AMAZING!
That's my favorite medley and the last song, I'm not sure of name I call it Remember the Music, is also my favorite. It makes me sad in a way to hear them sing those words with each other. I hope they both remember the music 😎
They lived together when they did Superfruit. Life moves on and I think they took a break from it. They’ll always be Superfruit just not weekly.
if you want an idea of what a ''new'' superfruit song might sound like, pentatonix released a new original song "petals" on the deluxe edition of The Lucky Ones, and it was originally written for superfruit :^)

I have never seen an episode of Empire (if I had seen this back when it was on, I would’ve watched it), that being said I watch this often. It’s soulful and so beautiful. I feel like you would really enjoy Goodbye, from lonely a Superfruit original. Also Misbehavin, an original by Pentatonix, it’s soulful (maybe a Motown feel, I can’t put my finger on it exactly) and I just love it.
Thanks for the reaction! This is one of my favorite Superfruit Medleys. Maybe this will be the year they bring back some SuperFruit content as they are always getting requests about it and I know they are working on a bunch of new stuff this year.

I tried following Empire for a while and while I loved the music, I just couldn't get into the show. This is one of my favorite medleys by SF.
I have this medley memorized…just like all the others. Lol.
Both of them have ranges out of this world! Scott takes over bass when Matt is singing. Mitch of course sings from tenor to the moon!
I think they have been really involved in Pentatonix plus their solo work. Mitch released an album not long ago under his alter ego name "Messer". It is fantastic! You should check some of it out! I like them all but Angels Pray is my favorite.
Sheeeesh is right! This is my favorite Superfruit music video, one of the first I ever heard, and I was blown away by how great these two guys sound together. It is a medley of many songs from the show Empire, which was about a family in the music business. The last 30 seconds is a mash-up of all the songs, taking one or two lines from each to finish the video. Another SF favorite is their original song Bad 4 Us. There are two versions, one is a dance video, and the other is animated. Please react to either one (I prefer the dance one but both are fun).
Pentatonix remains their main focus, but Mitch has his solo stuff and Scott has multiple projects including Citizen Queen and Acapop Kids. While Superfruit hasn't released anything new for years officially, you could consider Pentatonix' cover of The Prayer as Superfruit featuring Kirsten, Kevin and Matt.

I wasn't familiar with the show or any of the music before I watched this, but I checked out the originals of a couple of the songs. I'm with you that "Remember the Music" was my favorite. It was sung by Jennifer Hudson on the show and there are several versions from the show and live on CZcams. Songs for the show were mostly written and produced by staff songwriters, headed by Jim Beanz and Justin Bostwick with Timbaland as executive producer.
This was my first time hearing this too and my favorite now 🥰

If you want to hear more of Mitch in his lower register (even though I know you love his high register) listen to Amazing Grace from PTX. Kirstie also completely destroys her solo in it.

My favorite Medley by them. And, like you Remember the Music is my favorite. Jennifer Hudson sang this one I believe. And while I love Jennifer Hudson, Superfruit's arrangement and sound is better, by far, to me. When I heard this medley had never heard the original so looked it up. I would listen to Scott and Mitch on repeat of this song but not the original. Of course that's true for pretty much anything they sing so, you know...☺

I never watched Empire, either. All I really know about the music beyond this medley is that Jennifer Hudson sang one of the originals, Ne-Yo was writing some of the songs and I'm pretty sure the cast actually did a tour.
