Their chemistry is undeniable. Mitch has songs already out under his alter ego Messer. He is soooo good! Probably my favorite is Angel's Pray.

Scott's lower and mid range are just so 'full' and rich. That mixed with the amazing 'pop' sound of it, makes Scott an all-round great vocalists when you mix in his upper range and the fact that he's an amazing composer. He doesn't get enough recognition, even though he gets a lot.
Well said. I was just watching ptx’s evol of beyonce and I paid strict attention to scott... he has some of the hardest parts to follow, let alone execute. He bounces around so fluidly, it really is amazing.
@@MelaniePoparad he often has that in songs. He bounces around so much and fills up where it's needed. I think in the bts mashup he goes from falsetto to base if I remember correctly. He's wild!
These two together blow me away every time. I know you get tons of requests but I'm telling you if you react to the songs off their Superfruit album you will love it. They are each one incredible, poppy, dancy, you never realized you needed that kind of music in your life, and all but one are songs they wrote. It played nonstop in my car for months. The music just makes me happy.
And be warned, Messer (Mitch) is fabulous in his solo album, but very artsy, very techno. He loves that kind of music. My favorite is the one I'm listening to at the time.
Mitch has released a solo EP called Roses. VERY different than his PTX/Superfruit stuff and is SO amazing!!! I love Love Supply and Machine!
Their timing with each other is impeccable. It's bizarre. They're one person at times.
am so glad you are now discovering SuperFruit! You need to react to the Trio singing Lady Gaga’s song Telephone at their high school choir concert to see how the magic started. The core of PTX was born in that performance of 3 high school performance choir nerds blowing that audience away! It’s hard to believe they were that in tune with each other as teenagers.

This is my absolute favorite Superfruit medley. It displays both Scott and Mitch’s talent individually, but especially their talent and chemistry together. They are just so special ❤️
Some recent Mitch co-written songs from PTX are Anchor, Never Gonna Cry Again, Side, Petals and Coffee in Bed if you are interested in hearing what he writes when with them to contrast with Messer & Superfruit.
Those songs all have simple visualisers rather than videos, and are from their 2021 The Lucky Ones (Deluxe) album.
Petals was going to originally be a Superfruit track, but they decided it was for PTX.
Coffee in Bed sounds like it SHOULD be Superfruit (and is another Mitch and Scott co-written song) but was apparantly always a PTX one.

mitch's solo ep "roses" is already out under the artist name "messer" !! he has a music video for the title track & visualizers for the rest of them on his solo youtube channel. he also has a song called "love supply" on another ep that includes a remix of one of the songs from roses by another artist, and is the featured vocalist (as messer) on the Jimmy Edgar track "READY2DIE" :^) it would be really awesome if you could react to some of those, they don't have as many views as you'd expect. keep up the great reactions man, i'm really enjoying them!!

To really see the contrast between them, you have to react to PTX’s cover of The Prayer. They are beautiful singing together . Hoping it is their fourth Grammy. It is certainly worthy of it. Loved this one. Some Superfruit without singing but very funny are Ghost Hunting, The Tin Can Challenge , and Cheer Pong.
Superfruit "Feeling myself"! It will blow your mind!
They are just so in sync with each other. In some of their vlogs they were just like one person saying the same things at the same time or finishing each others sentences. Very funny people and the best friendship. I seriously just want to hang out with them (and the rest of PTX!)
Beyonce medley and Rihanna's Anti, for beauty. Feelin Myself is one you should react to just because it's fun.
As a singer, what freaks me out is that they can come in together and cut off together without looking at each other. And after watching their medleys multiple times I'm pretty sure the keyboard is played by Scott so they are singing to a recorded track that is pausing, changing tempo, etc., and they are staying right with it.
There are so many time changes, then there’s that syncopated bit near the end. 🤯💀. That shit is hard as hell as a soloist, let alone a duet with a recorded track. Unbelievable.

Roses has a video. It's sort of avant garde... The song is great, but the video caused some mixed feelings. There is also a cute fan-made video for Love Supply.

Thanks for the great reaction! This is still my favorite SF music video, after many years. I love the power in both of their voices, and the harmony they just naturally bring to it. They met when they were 9 and 10 years old in a local musical theater production of Willie Wonka and the Choc Factory, and have been friends ever since. They actually had a romantic relationship for bits of time in high school, although now they are like brothers. Empire is a TV drama about a family that is in the music business, and there are new songs presented almost every week in the show, and they picked about 10 of them for this medley. I go to this whenever I need beauty in my life.

Superfruit is a joyous rabbit hole to go down. I LOVE this medley. It doesn’t get nearly enough play in reaction circles. Enjoyed your reaction! Next try Hip Hop goes Broadway 1 & 2. They do hip hop songs in a Broadway style and it’s simultaneously hilarious, jaw dropping and amazing. They did two parts/vids. Both are excellent.

I haven't watched their videos in quite some time, or listened to more than a couple of songs off their album (that ende dup in my mixed spotify playlist) So I'm enjoying these videos a little bit extra, just revisiting the beautiful songs, and of course your reactions... I'm pretty sure the reason they were afraid it would be a disaster is because this was a medley that was not their idea. I don't know if either of them watched Empire, but as you could see from that very last screen... FOX paid them to do this one as advertising for season 2. They were that big as social influencers back in the day.
Hope my other two favorite medleys are on the docket - Beyoncé and Anti. And the whole album of originals 😆
Sadly, what Mitch wanted to do solo wasn't really for me. I bought it all to support him and will continue to do so with anything he wants to do because I love him, but it's not stuff I listen to much. I hope you react to some of his older covers, too. Find You and Graveyard, in particular, are soooo pretty. Even the still-Messer-but-pre-EP Ready2Die made my playlist.
I was so bummed when they stopped making Superfruit videos…like you said, their voices mesh perfectly. Their (PTX) most recent song “The Prayer” really brings their voices back together again. Also their original Coffee in Bed, when you listen to it it sounds like you are listening to Superfruit featuring Kevin, Matt and Kirstie ☺️

Feeling myself is a crazy rap filled medley and it’s shocking how good they are. But after that I suggest Beyoncé medley, Rhianna Anti medley, Gaga evolution, evolution of Miley and then move onto their album. It’s a whole other experience. I will watch every one of your videos. Mitch as Messer is quite different to PTX Mitch and Superfruit Mitch. It is his outlet for a different kind of sound. Quite old-school synthy, 80s ish. I love it, but some people I think prefer him in PTX/Superfruit.
He released his Roses EP already. He has said he feels like it is the first step in where he is going with his solo stuff, that they were songs he just needed to get out of his head and get released, so I'm looking forward to hearing what comes next.

You need to look up a Beginners Guide to Pentatonix. Mitch’s new songs are under his Messer name and they are awesome. Pentatonix ‘s newest album of original music is called The Lucky Ones and the newest Christmas album is Evergreen.
They do make a great duet. Mitch gets featured in a "Male Singers Whistle Notes Register Part 1" video. And probably in the part 2 as well, released two months ago.
It's always fun to watch a new reactor listening to them and getting it. Thanks for the reaction.

Mitch released 'Roses" under the moniker "Messer". It's got a bit of a dark feel and is heavily electronic (think synth 80's) mixed with techno beats and slower melodic melodies. It's super artsy. He has said in interviews that this is music that he felt he needed to write that have been in his head for the last 10ish years. He's also said that now that he has written them, he is kinda over them. It will be interesting to see where the next phase takes him. "Love Supply" was released separately because it has a different feel and is more upbeat.
It's magic what happens when Mitch and Scott get together. It's way more than just the sum of them 2. You also hear a glimpse of it in their newer ptx song "coffee in bed".
i never watched empire but it sure has good music. these two are just magic.
I'm really, really hoping you react to their Super fruit original works. Some are sweet, some heart melting, some whimsical; All brilliant.
