Can't get past 9:04, for some reason the modifier completely disappears and even when I retrace my steps I can't seem to figure it out, I'm still currently trying to figure out blender so it could just be beginner level messups on my end.
I know it's been some time, but I was wondering how you got the colors to show through on there? In my blender project only some of the clothing is actually colored (i just want a simple black color but it's showing as the same color as the body making it hard to sculpt)
how do I then take the weight painted asset (say pants for example, and export JUST those along with their armature into Unity? Any special settings needed? Especially if the asset already has blendshapes and you want to keep those.. Thanks!

9:57 I had a small issue. So The shoes I'm using are a pair of slip on shoes by sadi (at the end of the file, it said 0001 so idk if that's just the number for the asset or part of their name). But 1, the texture is really weird and I can't see the laces until I turn the model towards the side. Not only that, but after I did everything you said, the shoes didn't have the modifier that you said would automatically be there after clicking fix model, and they didn't stay to the model when I went into pose mode either.
I literally just started using blender like 2 days ago so I don't really know what to do here
what if the clothes/ hair still wont follow after doing this? or a finger lets say a pinky wont follow the rest of the hand after doing this?
try clicking fix model a second time. that usually fixes it up

I sculpted the body a little but as soon as I enter pose mode it changes. Any advice?
Make sure you are on the correct shape key and if youre editing a shape key its set to 1 otherwise you should be on the basis one
