Okay but my teacher took 4 weeks to explain what you just did in 15 mins and your explanation was the best
How do we have the same experience
@@jax8763 2 options; we probably live in a simulation or most teachers are in it for the money now, and not for teaching. i believe in both
@@emmaleo7668 Yes, I agree. Short and sweet is the way
Wow, same here
Lol same
I got my october exam grades last week and I got an A!!!! Thank you for your vids they helped me so much especially as I didn’t have a teacher.
My final grades are now A*AA!
nice one
you passed the exam without a teacher? that's seriously impressive and inspiring as well
What are the other subjects you took part in?
@justauserinhere
I did bio and chemistry
@@moket.2201 Ohhh thats great
No teachers? Just CZcams?
As someone who has just finished first year of sixth form I'm trying to understand first two topics for each subject by the time I go back to school to give me a leg up. Found the video very useful 😃
Beautifully explained, especially with the visuals. Learned more in 16 and a half minutes than 2 weeks with my physics professor.
I'm 27 and I am now understanding this
Also i binge watched half of these videos at 1.5 x while practicing questions for my finals in like 8 hours.
I've got my mocks this morning, so that's fun
Hopefully your finals went well :)
PLS TELL ME HOW YOU DID, my exam is in 16 hours.... and i haven't covered this topic......
Same dear same
Ah this was explained so well and it really helped me a lot !
your VOICE !!!! ITS SO CALMING, thank you i learned a lot abt shm
I Needed this..>THANK YOU!
Not saying this will work for every single person but after I do my revision I watch this video right after or the next day to cement my knowledge
Yea. Brilliant. U just got a new subscriber!
Thank you so much
this video was really helpful
Goat of yt
Thank you!!!!
Very helpful
Your explanations were perfect. Thanks so much.
thank you

at 16:00 ... the point where both parabolas (Kinetic energy and potential energy) meet; does that point mean anything other than Ek = Ep?
Which playlist can I find this video?
Hi Mr Rees. Are you aware whether we need to know the bi-variate graphs for SHM? Like the elliptical/circular graph for velocity against displacement? I’m studying for AQA
A.O.A Good work, sir hamari physics ki books mein simple harmonic motion dot dall kr likha hota tha jaisy k S.H.M but aj kl k adition mein aisy likha hota hai (SHM) why? Explain me plz thanks,
Watching this right before my exam
How do we calculate when that PENDULUM comes to a full stop at an angle of 20 degrees in air?
physics is op
10:24 where u have x= Acos(3pift) shouldn’t it be sin instead of cos?
As the pendulum is released from max amplitude at second 0, it matches cos graph and therefore cos is used
hi at minute 5:36 can you explain why all force is going backwards for left centre and right
Nooo - the arrow is just saying its the same as acceleration.

@@ali-li7ip no need to laugh i get it im thick in the head
@@ali-li7ip bruh, you're a disgrace to musims
@@namelesss8226 nothing to be disgraceful! Don't spread hate!
I know I may not get a reply but.
Why did you start the displacement from equilibrium then up to the max displacement rather than Start from Max displacement since the object is moving from rest
Because we can start timing at any point after we've let it go.
But yes, I wish I had done a cos wave instead.
6:14 why is it a sine wave? Surely it’s a cosine wave because cosine wave starts at 1 whereas sine wave starts at 0..??
A sin wave in maths does technically start at 0 but cos is just sin + 90 so people call that family of oscilation graphs, sin waves, as they are always a translation of a sin graph.
@@fahrenheit2101 riiiight that makes sense then, thank you so much!!
at 11:59 , when you create a formula for the tension, isnt the tension the centripetal force in this situation, so shouldnt the equation be T = mv^2/r => mg = mv^2/r ?
Centripetal force is actually known as the net force of all the forces acting that causes the object to move in circular motion. So Fc=Tension-mg And tension=Fc+mg

@@fahrenheit2101 it's a disgrace that YT removed the dislike counter. 🥲
i've just switched from k to Ek excuse me same thing! hahhah that was very sassy
is this suitable for 9702 physics cambridge??
i dont get question 5 where did 2 come from ?
At 7.43 why is velocity negative/
Is bro Chris Hemsworth or something
IF the mass is at equilibrium.[at rest]....wouldn't it velocity be equal to zero...thus the Kinetic energy will be zero at equilibrium..... As such k.E is an integer when the mass is moving in motion either going to the left or right...?
Momentum my friend
being at equilibrium _position_ ≠ being at rest
A=-w² X
v=±Wroot(A²-x²)
6:13 dont you mean cos wave?
the potential energy curve only applies to gravitational systems, right? e.g it wouldn't be the same for a mass on a spring moving horizontally across a surface?
Still counts!
Instead of it being gravitational potential energy it would be elastic potential energy I suppose
@@rosie212yeah I think so
i Knew he was british through his accent but he confirmed it by writing centre instead of center
(but who cares this is a great expalaination for simple harmonic motion)
centre is the correct one
Is this a reupload
Yes. Mistake fixed.
@@ScienceShorts what was the mistake because I just watched that video?

I understand most of it, so can't wait to do my alevels in 5 years😅😅😭😭
Try to open past paper questions of this topic lol u will give up before the first question
