What an incredible aircraft. Way, way ahead of all others, even now. Fantastic video too! How I wish they'd kept one airworthy.
What a beautiful aircraft!
Great video of the F-BVFC Concorde. I enjoyed a flight with this beautiful Queen back in 1998. Now she's resting in Toulouse.
I have many times seen the sister ship Fox Alpha at the Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy Center at IAD airport. Magnificent.
What an amazing sight, I miss seeing here fly.
Notre magnifique oiseau blanc, technologie incroyable le ciel est bien fade maintenant
Great video but what happened to the sound? The sound on landing was absolutely not Concorde...
EGTESkyGod The original sound wasn’t very good. It’s a bit hard to get the right sound these days, but I’ll keep trying.
Thank you so much for your subscription, I subscribed back! Awesome vintage footage by the way, really enjoyed it!
Canberra Flyer thanks for your comment, I’ll look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Sound is dubbed over. The only real Concorde sound is the takeoff run at the end.
Air France was banned for a bit from flying their Concordes to AUS. The reason is because an Air France Concorde was one day in the late 90s at the threshold and proceeded to take off, in the wrong direction on an active runway, WITHOUT CLEARANCE 🤣 The Concorde then blasted itself into the sky over Sydney, must have sounded insane. They were supposed to take off into the harbor. I know it was dangerous but that is absolutely hilarious.
Eventually they were allowed back.
So coool
Great video. Were you one of the safety officers back then?
Ninja Nige Coghlan it was part of a documentary we film in the late 90s/early 2000s.
@@flightpathflix I was airside the day you filmed that very departure. It was the first time I took the better half for a look around the airfield, and she had no idea how cool the Concorde was until it went roaring past on rotation. The pictures I took that day were just posted on my instagram @that_airfield_guy a couple of days ago.
How was the heat standing on the old platform behind the Rwy 16R blast fence??
Ninja Nige Coghlan that’s great. I’ll have a look at your instagram today.
