This just happened to me and I was immediately emailed by a "specialist" saying: After careful consideration, we've determined your account does not qualify for reinstatement. We've performed a comprehensive review of your account and the information you provided, and are unable to reconsider this decision.
But I didn't break any TOS or Policies. Heck, I didn't even have anything listed lately after opening a month or two ago since I wanted a bit more time to prepare before I was ready to actually start selling and shipping full-send. I've been given no suspension email prior, no details on my dashboard, and no consideration in their repeal response.
So...what now? I just can't sell on Esty *ever* for absolutely *no* reason?? 😖😬
Etsy needs a phone line to communicate with sellers and buyers. That chat venue is not enough.

This has happened with every single store within a hour,... Using different emails. No reason, no review... Just "we won't be able to respond further and our decision stands"
My account was suspended and I don't even have a shop. I don't want to have a shop. I am a shopper and was told I was suspended. I appealed, but really, who do they think they are? These guys and eBay are going to go out of business in the future because they are such a misery for shoppers and sellers

A bug? You mean to tell me that they can't fix this? This is craziness on Etsy's part. There IS NO good reason for them to pull that stunt! There is no other seller's platform that suspends one without a very good reason,

I've opened a shop under different emails 3 times now and they all got suspended within seconds, all appeals failed..
Only got as far as loading first item when starting my shop. No email with reason fir suspension. I appealed and received a response that said they can't reveal why it was suspended and they can't respond to future requests and good luck in future endeavors. Period.
my new shop got suspended within 3 seconds, and they still charged me the listing fees. Emails were never responded. It's like a ghost company. I called them twice, got the different answers. 1st one said he didn't know why I got suspended and this decision is final, no dispute. 2nd one said oh he didn't know and oh continue to wait in 2more wks. My hard work is trash now, and I am so devastated.
Well this gives me some relief! Thanks for the video. I KNOW i havent violated and policies and just spent countless days posting vintage christmas figurines and rushton santas specifically for this holiday and now it says permanently suspended 😓 better not take 2 weeks since i need to sell this stuff NOW!

@@1332jacko Hey so still permanently banned 😩🤬 I finally just gave up after 2.5 months of sending 2-3 emails a week. NO RESPONSE WHATSOVER! Nothing despite using every approach possible.. I Email from a different address and they answer right away....mention my account and they say they will look into it... NOTHING after that. They ghost me 🤯 I mean its not like I was sending some negative angry emails either. and now ignoring that email address as well. Nothing but beg and pleading to atleast tell me what I did wrong.. and if you can't tell me that then please I really need to know if/when i can get my money. It's just ludicrous they won't answer any of my msgs .. beyond the original response to my appeal stating vaguely saying "sorry we can't reinstate your account and we Can't disclose the criteria for reviewing your account" i have no unpaid balance. No reserve. Have it set to daily deposit. Says next deposit is tommorow but day after day 4 months now it Never comes! I've verified my other 2 bank accounts and tried to use those..same thing.. grrrr so ya ..im outta ideas. Policy mentioned they can do what they want with my money for up to 6 months. But this is just criminal..esp ghosting me after respond to other emails.

I mean I can see their behavior if I was violating policy (I only had 11 listings active and they were all for 1956 lefton christmas angels so violation really makes no sense. Only thing I can think of is using VPN I could of accidently had it on and read something about that triggering a ban) and ignoring me I could see if I was sending angry threatening emails or something but I was nothing but purposely apologetic and sincere up until my last few emails after 2 months of no response. Told them I'm reporting to the BBB and basically said exactly what I just told u. Grrrrr so mad
I had the same thing happen. They got back to me within an hour, but told me I was permanently suspended with no way to appeal further! Brand new shop
@@1332jacko going on 5months and still won't release the $160 from my last sales or answer a single email msg since it happened!! They literally haven't told me anything pass the initial appeal...sent 11 emails now and nothing 😰😰 just ridiculous! i just want my money at this point. Nov 27th suspended and its now April 9th!? If I send email from different email . They respond right away. So they're definitely deliberately ignoring or have email blacklisted...so the past month I have now resorted to signing up for a new email and begging and pleading to whomever reads it To escalate my case and release my funds. 🤷♂️🤷♂️ tryed everything else
I had an overdue balance and got suspended. When I checked the balance, it said nothing was due? I filed the appeal and they said they weren't going to be removing the suspension even after I found a way to pay the balance of .40 even though the balance was only there for 2 days.

I tried this and it said, "Your account doesn't have an issue that's eligible for appeal." So I couldn't even file an appeal.
When I click on the FILE AN APPEAL bottom, it gives me an error. It doesn’t allow me to go to the screen with those questions you showed. It says “Uh Oh, Sorry the page you were looking for was not found” 😞😩😫

Etsy will frustrate the seller without any care whatsoever. Just requested them to delete my account, they wont even reply to you most of times, after making you wait for 14 days, yea 14 days thats how long it takes to receive a reply a electronically, In 1950's you can get a reply faster than that.

I signed up and added all my information, designed my first product, went to upload it, and my account was suspended. I appealed like this and got denied within 10 mins and was told that the suspension would now be permanent because my appeal was denied. I made another account. It was suspended before I even finished the signup process. All this work learning and designing my first product and I can't even use etsy and I didn't even violate any terms because my account was literally just made :( Etsy support is no help whatsoever.
You're not alone, this just happened to me as I'm preparing to make this a full-time focus and now I'm banned before I can even get a product listed. Pathetic customer service which is clearly cheaply outsourced.
Agreed it just happened to me as well. I deleted my entire account and still had to pay .20 for an item I could never sell. Do not recommend Etsy .
same happened to me, i live in Spain and they dont accept my spanish ID card which is a bug or something, they should totally accept it. Im inscribed in Spain and all is 100% legal. Where do you guys sell alternatively?
Unfortunately this happened to me today. Only one week after i opened my store. And it happened the day i started posting items to sale.
Filed an appeal and got a response. They didn't' say why or the reason i was being suspended. Furthermore, they said that after careful analysis of my store they would NOT revert the decision.
I simply can't understand why.
That really SUCKS!!!! Can you tell me how many listings you had posted and what those items where?
@@shawnshalest_hws 5 listings total. All uploads through Printify. I was making some edits in those listings and then got the banner saying i was suspended.

I just made an etsy account and learned hours and hours on how to make the store and design products.. I just got suspended in less then 24 hours. didn’t post a single item in the shop. Reading all these comments are absolutely crushing my motivation for making anything on this dumb ass site..
They denied my appeal. No reason given.
