But the global response to the operation in Gaza has made some people here question why we take these measures at all if we're risking the lives of our soldiers whom will be accused of committing genocide anyway. One can only take so much blame before one snaps, and those blaming us for everything aren't helping the situation.

The IDF is having to fight a very complicated war and I am surprised this has not happened sooner but for the professionalism of it's soldiers. There are no charities or organisations cluttering the warzone in Ukraine to the same degree as in Gaza . In Iraq and Afghanistan there was not the same level of oversight there.
If Qatar/Iran had not backed Hamas/IJ to start the war and if after , Qatar/Iran had pushed to release the hostages and install the PA if not someone else instead of Hamas then this would have been avoided.
