  • This can be complicated if it's your first time, but give it a few gos and you'll be an expert at loading and rigging up your speargun.
Rigging up the mono/dyneema line can be daunting, particularly as each different style of speargun has a slightly different way of rigging it up. In this episode we're going to teach you how to do this with some of the most common speargun configurations, and how to load your rubbers ready to take your first shot.
Hope you enjoyed episode 8 of Master The Hunt, our new educational series that will teach you everything you need to know from How to Snorkel, Advanced Freediving and Breath-hold techniques, all the way up to Advanced Spearfishing Tactics and Sustainable and Ethical Fishing guides.
Good luck in the water, have fun and stay safe!

Starting out it is definitely a little tricky. But it's one of those things that practice really helps with. This is how Open Head spearguns have worked for a long time now, but watch this space - exciting things are coming!
