No hate but if this is how most of your radagon fights go, you probably dont like him cuz you arent good at fighting him
I'm the craziest DS3 dick eater and it's wild to see Curse Rotted Greatwood up this high. I thought Godskin Duo would be a lot lower as well I hate that fight. I love Radagon though, especially since he's being counted as separate from Elden Beast I'd put him in my top 10 for Elden Ring. Demon's Souls should be out of entries soon though right? I don't think any DeS boss is cracking the top 75 on my own list, but also nearly 200 bosses is a big number and I may be forgetting all the shit that's in the other games
the top like 2/3 guys are still left i think but the well is basically dry
The only Demon's Souls bosses that have yet to appear, if I'm not mistaken, are Tower Knight, The Penetrator, Flamelurker, and Storm King, so that game's roster is almost finished.
@@rpgfan1187 I think so yeah. Which are all good bosses but because of the primitive gameplay of DeS are heavily overshadowed by pretty much everything that came after them
1. I both agree that Elden Beast isn't that bad and that Elden Stars is one of the most fucked attacks in the game.
2. With Godskin Duo don't attack the apostle and the fight will be much more consistent. Still an awfulb boss, just something to keep in mind next time.
3. Radagon is fucking incredible and idk what you're on about. I don't give a shit about the theme personally I don't even notice it but from a mechanical perspective he's flawless imo. 10/10 boss!

Old monk also gave us the lookign glass knight since you can also be summoned in for that fight if your lucky
15:29 literally every boss that was listed has an ample amount of openings, you just need to find them, they aren't given out to you on a silver platter after each attack combo.
Also Radagon and Elden Beast are the same fight, a fight that is far, far better than Gwyn and Nashandra
Right? I have no idea what he's talking about. No openings on Morgott, Margit, Niall, Maliketh, Astel, Ancestor Spirit, Fire Giant, Mogh, Loretta? Did we fight the same bosses? All of these bosses have massive openings constantly.
Ignore orbs and just position away from them around nashandra, and put effigies on your belt. You will likely have extras at this stage and just using 1 puts your healthbar back to max.
I even use a bonus effigy after she dies so I can be human on the throne :3
I hate fighting Radagon. Music is good, but the arena sucks. On top of that, the delays on his attacks are the worst that the game has to offer and sometimes he just goes nuts and becomes ultra aggressive for no reason.
I beat Mytha with the poison in the arena once by accident because I forgot that I needed to remove it and just rolled with it. It's honestly not any harder or more interesting, you just need to heal more.

Thankfully armored core 6 has a really good gank boss so maybe from software will give us a decent duo boss in shadow of the Erdtree
Great video, Guys! While I don't hate Radagon as much as Alex does, I'm not a big fan of that fight, especially since it's directly tied to Elden Beast (whom I despise fighting). Curse-Rotted Greatwood is one of my least favorite DS3 bosses, although I prefer it over Halflight, Ancient Wyvern, Wolnir, and Champion's Gravetender. Of the major bosses in Elden Ring, Godskin Duo was probably my least favorite. I was over-leveled when I faced them so only died a few times, but I just found the battle to be yet another lazy gank that was not fun to experience. I think one of the reasons that Elden Ring's gank fights are especially bad (aside from the obvious problems with the arenas, etc.) is that ER's bosses tend to have longer combos that give fewer openings to the player. That's fine when facing one boss, but it becomes a lot more tedious when dealing with multiple of them (which only becomes worse in this fight since they can resurrect each other).
Micolash is definitely on the lower end of Bloodborne's bosses for me, but I don't consider him as bad as the One Reborn or a lot of the Chalice Dungeon bosses. I've just never been a fan of bosses that force you to chase them down like this, and I'm just glad that Micolash is less frustrating than Gnasty Gnorc from Spyro 1. Mimic Tear is a conceptually interesting boss, but I've seen that formula executed better elsewhere (e.g. Dark Link from Ocarina of Time, both Doppelganger fights in Symphony of the Night).
That's an interesting point Jack made about FromSoft creating the bosses of Demon's Souls first and then coming up with the lore afterwards, and I think that makes sense. It kind of reminds me of how Looking Glass Studios handled level design in Thief II: The Metal Age. For the first game, they came up with the story first and then designed the levels, which resulted in some top-tier missions and others that were absolutely abysmal. With the sequel, they actually came up with ideas for levels and designed them first and then came up with a story that would incorporate those locations. This resulted in the levels being much more consistent in terms of quality, overall.

15:06 Eh, I don’t hate Elden Beast but I definitely don’t like him and do find him very annoying. Specifically for the combination of it always teleporting and moving around along with the homing attacks. Seriously for some reason whenever I fight the Elden Beast, I always am only getting attacked by Elden Stars (fuck that attack) or it homing blasts in whatever flavor it decides to use in the moment.
One side is red with axe and odachi, and other is bow.
On what you said about why the old monk’s cutscene starts so early, it’s because for online, the game’s loading a player in. Why that didn’t change in offline I don’t know. The runup is still cancer
I actually like both ER final bosses radagon way more than elden beast of course but i def think theyre better than some other final bosses like gwyn or nashandra
I dislike elden beast because he runs away and has annoying attacks but he is way better than some people say imo
Having recently beat the old monk I 100% agree that him starting the "pvp souls fight" shouldn't be a compliment cuz that shit fucking sucks

Oh hell yeah another Radagon non-enjoyer! Altho I don't think I dislike him quite as much as you and that's even with me considering him and EB as one boss lol. I do like his music tho, even tho it does kinda hype up the fight only for the rug to be pulled :/

Shame you don't like Radagon Alex but personally he's a great fight for me if we exclude Elden Beast. I'm curious what Jack has to say about Radagon.

Believe me, try another time to fight him and learn his moveset.
