Dean was a real man that this generation has forgotten to be like. To me he should be crowned king of the Italian people. He was the best of the rat pack. Nothing but love for him.

My parents, grandparents and I would sit around the 'Zenith Console' at my grandparents home and watch Dean Martin and Entertainers who had their own TV shows. I do miss these days. Looked forward to when they would come on. These were the days!!!!!

Totally agree! I'm from Ireland. When I was a kid in the early 60s, we got our first tv and the National TV station was RTE and still is but there wasn't a lot of home produced programs, they were all imported from the USA and Mammy and Daddy adored Dean and Frank and Perry❤ and I'm to this day a huge fan of those. With all respect to the music of today ((I don't think anyone could hold a candle to those guys) PS One of Dean's favourite singer was a guy from the Mills Brothers (check it out) and just to finish, Dean Martin was one of Elvis Presleys favourite. Now for ya😊

Dean could sing any song,with his unique style making many better than the original singers,king of the road by Dean better than any other version,two of my favorites are my rifle pony and me from Rio bravo ( best western ever made) and kiss the world goodbye,can't see there ever being anyone to match Dean for style and voice, lucky to have so many recordings of this great man for generations to come,his family should be very proud 👍

Bands and Music But Dean Martin will always be one of my favorite s In a time when there were so many great singers Every Christmas me and my Played alot of Deans Christmas songs and we never missed.The Dean Martin show Dino was a likable guy.He always seemed.happy A guy you felt you could sit and have a beer with He was never the same after he lost his son Dino Frank Sinatra would try to get him to do shows with him to keep his mind off losing his boy But he didn't have it in him anymore RIP Dino

The one and only Dino! Vastly talented, and made it look so effortless. Singer, comedian, producer, entertainer, dancer (yeah, modest), actor (pretty decent). He could captivate an audience, and his country tunes were as fun as any.
I would NEVER have to make believe I LOVE Dean!!!!!Wish we could have had some "good times" together!!!!! Dream about this guy!!
One thing about Dean, he put so much feelings in his lyrics . You just cant take your eyes off him. He was an amazing entertainer with talent that was never duplicated. Miss him RIP

so true he was always handsome in his tux with his red cloth in his pocket. He always had that smile on his face that you can't help smiling back at the t.v. set. now we ☺ smile back at CZcams. So glad we have that to light up our days in this crazy world we live in today.
It seems entertainers like these don't exist anymore. I was only born in 1958 . I could watch these charming entertainers with my parents & brothers without embarrassment.

Hero Zero Well, I don’t think that anyone could argue with the fact that Frank was a great singer. But to me the difference was that he sang very precisely and accurately, but Dean really PERFORMED a song. His voice was warm and mellow, and when he sang lighthearted tunes you could always hear that wonderful chuckle in his voice. But when he sang more serious ballads he could really make you FEEL the emotion of the lyrics. At least that’s my opinion, though I’m sure many people will disagree, and that’s fair enough.

We listen to him every evening and early morning when still in bed. Helps us enjoy life and his music as we are in our mid eighties. ❤

Skye Walker That’s one of the many things I loved about Dean, how he never took himself (or much of anything!) seriously, and always took the mickey out of himself and his image. I think that is probably one of the reasons why so many people, both inside and outside of the industry, loved him so much. Just about everyone who knew him and worked with him always said in interviews what a nice guy he was, with very little ego, but he was apparently extremely funny and had a great sense of humour.
