Moved by you two eating a simple meal in bed after the food hunt. So deserved. Again, the storyline, videography is great. Respect!
i felt so lost with them at that point. Not sure of i would have got to guts to cook in that little park, as they did. I'm sure everything they made that night tasted better then other times.
Me: showing my family this wholesome family-friendly show
Ed: 4:10
Hahahaha
Haha yeah, this would be the episode I choose to watch with my partner... Ed's stream went down well too!
People who remembers Ed skinny dipping in China: yes yes very family friendly 🤭
So that’s where Dave got too! Thanks for looking after him!
Crying 😂😂
Just another "shop escapee" on his migration of the wobbly "Wonder Wands"
(Careful,,,,, like camels,,, they have been known to "hiss" 🤣)
Wow 😮 Ron's Garden View of the sunset here look like a picture perfect postcard! Lucky chappy 👌🏿
You're such a lovely couple and the way you tackle problems together is so nice to see.
I must have missed that Q&A... We are all interested in knowing more of Aishola's story. How did she learn English so well? How easy was it for her to switch gears from whatever she did to riding/preforming on You Tube. I must say she plays along with your madness amazingly well! Adds lots of cheery color to your repertoire.
Ron, you’re a legend
I will send your words to him if that’s ok, thank you
Looking forward to the Georgia videos.
Love watching how much fun you both have even when the going gets tough.
Thanks for letting us be part of your adventures - much appreciated!!
When I was a teenager, we were driving between Laredo Texas and Corpus Christi Texas on a trip. My dad saw two trashcans laying on the shoulder of the highway wrapped in duct tape. We turned around and opened one of the trashcans. It was completely full of $100 dollar bills. We called the police and the officer said it's a common occurrence. Drug dealers throwing money away to avoid prosecution. We never got a reward, my dad said we should have taken one of those cans home :-)
Your dad sounds like a very honest man.
Those cans would have come straight home with us if my dad would have found them
@@1eltino
When the police came it took 3 of them and my dad to lift each can into the police van. They were hundreds of pounds each
I was drinking coffee and when u showed Dave, I almost fell out of my chair! lol. Thought nothing could top "Dave" until you showed the operation hours of the Restaurant, open 5pm to "Random". hahhaha.... we are very "committed" aren't we. hahaha... oh that is no good when u get so tired. Ron is the kind of hero we need more of in this world.
congrats! and thankyou so muuuuuuuch.....for sharing your travel.....take care!
You would have cycled right past our house on your way into Dartmouth. We would have totally put you up for a couple of nights and fed you if we had known you were coming through south Devon! Off-season Dartmouth during covid was definitely a very very empty place...
As an American, I'm so fascinated by your town! Everything is flat, sprawling suburbs. Absolutely nothing like anything I've seen in this video. Maybe England ain't so bad...
Awww thank you x
Such good storytellers and I admire your tenacity and gungho attitude. Why, and how, you keep motivated is beyond me. One day of cycling and one night in a tent and I would be in a taxi on my way home...
You guys basically followed my grandparents history. You rode past my their final house in Strete then onto Dartmouth where they used to own a shop and before that and Kingsbridge where they lived between the two. Lovely memories.
You guys cooking that dinner under a streetlamp is a better memory than any 5 star meal could ever be.
I am in awe of you both. Focused, determined, resourceful......
I love these videos, loved the unicycletour videos and this series has been amazing to watch. It gives me a calm feeling and I really enjoy watching them at evenings before sleep. At the moment I've got some exams coming up, so these videos are a true lifesaver. Thank you so much!
Anyone else notice Aishola picking up a slight British accent? 😄
I was thinking the same.
😏😏
Much improved since losing most of that American twang. Good work Aishola (and Ed).
in 1967 i spewed over the side of that torpoint ferry. i left a vivd purple stripe down the white paintwork. i had been drinking rum and blackcurrant. just the smell of rum makes me want to retch these days. evil stuff
The last couple of Friday nights I've been out on the rum. Dark on what became an awesome night out, the best fun I'd had out in the city in years, then last weekend on the white. Still a good, but much tamer night, though I wasn't feeling the flavour as much. However, I think if I'd've attempted a ferry crossing in the midst of those sessions, I wouldn't be looking back so fondly though...
Good day..a big around there it so wonderful around..godbless.
I’m really enjoying this tour as a fellow tandem owner I’ve covered most of this route brings so many memories .
Wow well done! When did you cycle there?
@@aisholaaisaeva i must make it clear we have cycle the whole of that route but in sections not in one go as you have done. Some parts we have cycled many times others not so much but following your journey brings back so many memories like cycling through Porlock, Porlock Weir, Lyndon and Lynmouth, Slapton Sands, Dartmouth the list goes on ,and your correct it is very hilly in places. It’s a pity you skipped cycling around the Lizard in Cornwall there’s some lovely coves and beaches there , but so impressed your living the dream .
I don't usually "ring the bell" on youtube (I think I get notifications for a total of 3 or 4 channels), but this is a series which I really didn't want to miss! Can't wait for the next episode, really appreciate the effort you guys have put in to everything, from the editing and recording to the planning and cycling itself, I didn't even notice the last 20 mins go by!
I really appreciate how attentive you were in this whole trip in keeping the miles down so your partner would not be overwhelmed. I have seen many couples wanting to do the same thing and implore during the tour because they did not make the goal feasible and did not communicate well with each other. I was riding across the US two years ago and met a couple were the girl wanted to do 80 plus miles a day through the Cascades and the boyfriend wanted to stop and take a look around. They were very nice but he was jealous of me because I was going to take the day off in Mitchell Oregon and go see the Painted Hills and because she wanted to ride out the next day, he was not able too. It is very challenging to find a partner that is willing to compromised without been pushover or becoming upset if her needs are not been made. Great stuff Eduardo, great stuff.
Loving this style of videos, do you plan to do more like this?
seems they will post that Georgia trip. But not really soon I guess
Urinating at the side of a very quiet road for me is a sure way to turn it into the A1, full of scores of ladies in cars being affronted. Happens every time.
Another great video and good persistence by you both. Take care, Al
Such a lovely couple, always a joy to watch
Amongst the very best cycle touring videos I’ve seen…thanks so much for posting…I’ve subbed of course😃
Love this series Ed. Thank you both.
This episode is such a throwback to the first day of my England-Portugal cycle trip 3 years ago- I was going the other way, but the route and stops wre exactly the same :-) Love your work!
i remember biking around virginia at camp when it started pouring buckets of water to where we could barely see. some guy happened to see us and wave all 12 or so of us into his garage that already had two touring motorcycles. a great little reprieve until the rain let up and we could continue on our way. sometimes the least fun times on a trip can turn into the good small memories that last a lifetime.
Beautiful video, lots of good vibes, humor and awesome scenery! Thanks Aishola & Ed!
Any proper cyclist will know how it feels to properly 'bonk' like that! Such an enthusiastic stoker, what a trooper.
What a wonderful episode! Fun and heartwarming. Thank you
Thank you so much for sharing your trip!
Stay safe & have fun!
Aishola: pew pew pew pew. Also, damn, Ron's backyard is where I want to live.
Another great episode. Thanks for sharing.
A supporter called "Seymour Butts"!🤣🤣
It's cool to see Ed at my favourite pub !
Loved the video be safe out there.
Love your vidéos Ed, really inspiring 🙂 take care
Seymour Butts, come on, lad. LMAO I so enjoyed you on your unicycle. It was an exciting, interesting and educational tour, man and bike around the world. I do not think you could have found a better partner if you searched for the rest of your life, nor could Aisholp. It is a joy to watch the two of you together, as fine a couple as I have ever seen ad I've seen a few. So seeing you two happy folks and whatever you are doing is just fine. I wish you an eternity together.
Wonderful film!!
That's an interesting mushroom you guys found
Love your zest for life , loving the tandem, you make a great couple, thank you for sharing. Best from down under in Aussie!
Amazing video as usual Ed! Well done
12:30 Please make your tandem/uni/transport talk more. It's funny and wholesome and I love it =)
Ed backtracking? My world is shattered. Up is down, black is white. :)
Have you considered taking some power bars with you? For when you can't find food, need a boost of energy.
Take care its fun to watch you both, nice content
Slapton Sands, I grew up down the road in Kingsbridge, and have just got back from there today!!
Great vid..keep em coming.
We hire Kingswear Castle for a long weekend a few years ago and had a great time exploring the area. My bedroom was in an old WW2 gun bunker perched on top of the cliffs in the castle grounds.
Can't ask for a better welcome to Plymouth than heavy rain!
Beautiful
Well done Ron.
very strong stream Ed! :D
Ron your a legend
She's a trooper.
Ron to the rescue ....👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Get that mounted on yer helmet. 😂😂
😂😂😂😂
haha
Hello from Ukraine, crazy inspiring vids!
lovely couple
Georgia. "Oh, he's in the states again? I should hop on the train to Atlanta and go say hi." ....oh....other Georgia.
Didn't knew you were in love, Ed !!
Wonderful !
I love the name Cosmic Disaster.
Desde Colombia apoyando desde que andaba en una rueda felicitaciones por hacer lo que quieren
Nice to see you down our way. Exe trail is our go to ride. Almost totally flat. YOu could have smashed it, but the good old Devon rain… Last time I did it, it rained too. Take care both and loving the vids as always.
13:07- 3,2,1.... Nice.
I've never heard Devon pronounced Georgia before.... 😉😂
haha
Bit mean of you, Ed; filling the room with curry fumes!
Wonderful video, as always. Greetings from Germany.
Say, are you colorgrading those videos, or did you just happen to have a blue sky of just the right limunance value behind you in the credits shot?
nice ed
Ron!!
Lidl is a great store to shop bike food at.
5:20 Not only was the area used for D-Day practice, I believe they tested Barnes Wallis' dam busting bouncing bomb in the 'lake' behind the beach.
The bouncing bomb was tested at Chesil Beach further east along the coast towards Portland, not at Slapton.
Seymour Butts has taken over the best name spot from Elijza Lejander!
A little warning for those of us watching this series with an elderly parent please.😳😖🤭 That sunset was gorgeous.
6:40 you could have just slept on that beach That's Blackpool sands, I camped there at the weekend.
ever thought off isle of wight ? has beautiful coast run only 60 miles total ..
Thumbs up the patron member who got Ed to say see more butts 🤣
Surely it's Aishola that's seeing more whilst as the stoker?! Perhaps she should read that one out each week...
I like it
Great series, thank you!! Where is episode 5 pls??
czcams.com/video/5j9blEL1Zus/video.html
We would call your Slapton Sands a "barachois" here in Newfoundland (some pronounce it BARAS-way). I think the Australians call it a 'spit'. Americans would say 'sandbar'.
We definitely use spit over here in the UK (and I think sandbar too). My nearest are Blakeney Point, Norfolk & Orford Ness, Suffolk.
That petrol camp stove is clever, but does it smell? Does it affect the taste of the food?
Ahh Ed. Next time - please book more hotel sleeps and rest days for your girl. Xx
Sometimes you just gotta cook a meal on a park bench
😉😉
Wild Atlantic Way next (Southern Ireland) ?
oh no, Georgia is mountainous!
4:03 what the 😂😂😂
What part of Torquay you heading to would love to say hello
"Imagine going to Plymouth." -This is a message from the Exeter Uni gang
Seymour Butts... ha ha ha
So impressed that you thought to ask people if they would allow you to camp in their garden and very surprised that some people would say no. Good old Ron.
right!? why would someone say no
Excellent ‼️Ride safely. 👍☮️🌞🌟🚴♂️🚴♀️🏕🐾
Yer I know, sometimes the most simplest meal in the world is the best thing ever.: ]
You skipped Dawlish my home town :(
Seymour Butts 😂
Hey Ed thanks so much for finding that 3:51. I lost it on my morning jog 🏃
I was thinking how on earth do you manage to jog and watch a video at the same time without having a pedestrian collision or road traffic accident, but then it dawned on me that you probably ended up in a heap behind your treadmill!
