Best part about raptor is it stays the same color almost no uv fade did my jeeps door bottoms and kickers along with my sonomas bed and it looks killer too

Might already been done or going to do, but waxoil in chassis rails and crevasses also helps as it flows into pinch weld joints reducing risk of damp rusting inside rails outwards. Great video as usual

I know it's gonna be hard or almost impossible to get this thing professionally painted right now with everything going on but this thing really really deserves it. And im begging you it needs to be Phoenix Yellow. It would look soooo good against that black and a black interior OMG PLEASE 🙏
As a car builder or more body and paint but in a car building world from ground up aspect..once you get to this part you can say your over the hump least in your case because prob don’t have much body work to do. We usually do the under last right before paint depending. That stuff works great.
TIP: If you Raptor line the underside on a lift, make a tent around the car all the way to the floor, That stuff goes every F%$kin where in the shop. You would be amazed at how far that stuff can travel. Also the tent really does help keep the fumes down in the shop. I love Raptor liner, every car I build gets it in one color or another.
For the next project like this you should try "Lizard Skin" spray on coating. It seals, insulates, and adds TONS of sound deadening without much weight. I did my death trap Miata and S2000 in it, I would not go any other way now. It sounds like much thicker metal, has no heat now from the trans tunnel or firewall/header tunnel, and it's protected from rust.
I personally own a daily beater ek civic, and this has given me so many ideas to make another daily into another project.. love the content! Always great watching the new videos! Would be great to have you guys come over and check out the New Zealand car culture in the future!!

Hey Jimmy when ever you put Sean sealer on fyi tip an old timer tought me was use paint reducer . Dip the brush in the reduced befor you brush it on it goes on easier.
Raptor liner is the s**t, just refinished a land defender 90 with it and it just looks incredible, if anyone wants use this stuff without having to spray it on, you can use it on a paint roller too which works just as well, super amazing product
I just did this same process on my E30, using the same products, and the soft SEM seam sealer under the brittle Raptor Liner will cause the Raptor Liner to crack if you bump it with something while assembling the car. I will never use Raptor Liner again because of this.
I've used raptor liner to paint a little sleeper honda Acura swaped and we put colour pigment in it once you get it down it sprays nice ASF love what your doing here Mr oaks

Sem seam sealer is my go to, that and 3m only stuff I would use. Agree with not on bare metal. Always over a sealed surface, primer sealer or epoxy primer, then paint over it. Look factory then. Keep on keeping on your!

Suplimental tripod lighting would elevate these underbody/lift videos a BUNCH! Anyway,it's cool to be along for a build of such a high calibre.

Upol makes a great product. Raptor is no exception. All my jobs have come out amazing.

The can is 100% correct, it goes directly onto metal, not over primer. It goes replace panel, put seam sealer, and then paint prep/prime
