We own a stitch bubble blower. It is not a wand but a standing stitch. The first time we used it he drooled everywhere đ something stitch would actually do. He works fine now.

The bubble wand story is the exhausting truth of being a mom. And you nailed it, she knew he would be upset later if he didn't get the bubble wand he originally wanted.

I've done similar with my kids but not to that extent. I know they typically talk all about and like certain characters, so if they choose a different character and the one I know they like more is there as well and they don't choose it, I would question it, but not for that long LOL. I would say something like, "Ok, you aren't going to be upset you didn't get the other one later, are you?" and then if they still insist, get the one they say they want. Should only take a few minutes tops. But hey, the procrastination worked in her benefit anyway!

@@jazzmanny02 eh, you get used to it LOL.And it isn't like that all the time. This is a special occasion, you are on vacation, at Disney, so the rules bend a little more for most parents. You just want the experience to be as pleasant as possible because they are memories, rather than just the regular day to day life, so sometimes, that is making sure your kid gets what they want (especially when you are shelling out a lot of money as well).
"Have a MAGICAL day sir!" đ Isn't that one of those phrases people say castmembers use when they're annoyed with you? Not that I wouldn't have been annoyed too!

I LITERALLY had someone asked me about the Cinderella's castle too! I worked at the Emporium too which is literally the street with the castle at the end, I had to walk out and point it out to them. So crazy! I also had guests who got mad about the weather, and how we could not control it. Good times :)

Dude I love your energy and the whole enthusiastic vibe. Iâve never worked with the Disney Company, only in fast food jobs. When I worked at Mcdonalds, I got told off two times by two different older woman for being too âpeppyâ. Thatâs the most odd complaint Iâve ever received I guess

I have a great 'horror' guest story from my International College Program...
So, it was my first day out of training at Finding Nemo the Musical (Theatre in the wild). The position I had was stroller parker, along with another cast member, who was an older cast member (I'm going to call him Hank) who had recently changed positions...I believe he was at the Bone Yard before hand, so he knew the ropes. We were parking strollers, everything going great. This young dad comes up with his two sons. One who looked to be about 7, and one in the stroller. I will say this right now, I did NOT see a red tag on the stroller indicating it was being used as a wheel chair. Nor did he show me a red tag.
I ask him if he's coming to see the show, and he says yes. So I say, "You're going to have to park your stroller. We don't allow strollers inside the theatre, as it's a fire hazard. But leave it with me, and I'll park it for you." I pointed (Disney point and all!), to where it would be parked. Said this all with a smile.
He goes, "Oh! Okay, sure." And proceeds to get his son out of the stroller. His wife comes up, and this is when things get...interesting.
Wife: "What's going on?!"
Dad: "We have to park the stroller."
Me: "That's right ma'am, we don't allow strollers inside the theatre as it's a fire hazard. But leave it with me and I'll park it for you." Again, Disney pointed...smile on my face and everything.
Wife: "Are you F****** serious."
Me: O.O;;;
Wife: "We have to park the F****** stroller?!"
Me: O.O';; "Umm...."
Hank: *comes over* Park Policy ma'am, we can't have strollers inside the theatre
Wife: "This is F****** ridiculous. We have to park the F****** stroller. Who do we talk to about this?"
Hank: "Guest relations at the front of the park."
Wife: "That's it. We're done. We're leaving. We're going home!" *grabs stroller, and storms up the hill. Dad and other son follow.*
Hank: *waves as they walk off, when the wife is somewhat out of ear shot* "Have a Magical Day Ma'am!"
Me: "Hank! You just told her to..."
Hank: "Yes I did! She should NOT have spoken to you like that. I don't care if she speaks to me like that, but hearing her speak to you like that...it made me mad."
oh my gosh! I'm so so sorry!!! Sometimes people just go crazy for no reason and it's like ???? whyyyyy???? I'm glad Hank stood up for you!
It was nuts! I was in shock.. If the red tag was there, all they had to do was show it, and I would have said "Oh, that's okay then. Go right on up." But they didn't. I now look back and think...I would have loved to be at Guest Relations when she went there (if she did).
Wife: "They were going to make us park our stroller at Finding Nemo the musical!"

Did you get asked if you spoke âAmericanâ. Iâm Italian and worked at Epcot at the Italy Pavilion. I got asked multiple times a day if a spoke American. Not English but American. I wanted to answer back with No sir. I only speak 4 languages fluently but Iâm so sorry American isnât one of them.

Okay so Iâm going to play devilâs advocate here.. as a mom to a 5 and 3 year old I know how kids can be. My daughters will be OBSESSED with a certain character and we will go to get that certain character item and then it wonât be there. Then my said child will say âoh Iâm fine with a Mickey oneâ when I know when we get back to the hotel sheâll start a mental breakdown asking where her certain character item is.. so we as parents know that itâs better and easier to remind the child of what they really wanted originally even though the child will SWEAR they changed their mind just to prevent the rest of the night/trip from going down the drain. Lol. Iâve been that mom saying âOh, donât you want the *certain character* item? Remember you were saying you wanted that one? Are you sure youâre okay with another kind? No, I think you should just get this one instead because you really want that oneâ đ The struggle is so real.. I feel that momâs pain.
Kayla Smith I have been that mom too!! sometimes ( if I am thinking about it)if my kids are in this position I just let them look while I ask if we could get the one that my child was really looking for in order to save the time and patience of the person working there and if they said it was at a different location and you knew that was really really important to your child I think maybe for the workers sake it is easier to just use the time to walk over and get one wherever they are located so that your child will be happy later on. ( but like I said I have definitely been there and done that before too. I think this video really opened my eyes to the need for me to personally make moves to teach my kids about kindness and thanking about other people!!)Maybe it is all the mama guilt we buy into that says if we donât do these things were not being good parents or something

When I went to Disneyland, I felt sorry for one of workers who helped me. I asked them to engrave a wrist band with Neki on it.
This is due to my niece's cousin is called Neki short for Taneka. The worker that I said Naki. I was patient and calm with them and when they apologised, I nobally said it's not their fault

I worked at Petco... People are crazy about their pets and I got yelled at a lot if we were out of their pets food. What I hated the most was getting a fish for someone. Most of the time they say I want this kind of fish, I catch one and I'm done... But some people come in with their kids and the kid wants a specific one... Even though they look the same .. so I have to chase a fish for like 20 min and when I finally catch it decide they want a different fish. I loved working at Petco cause I got to pet so many dogs that just made your day but... Sometimes I wanted to pull my hair out! Lol

Yes sometimes the parents could definitely take that time to got the child into sticking with their choice and being kind to others by not wasting their time. I think sometimes as parents we are so guilted by either things we see online or books we read that we feel like every decision asked to be the perfect one and make the perfect memory and in order to do this weekend without knowing Or meaning to we can lead our child into a entitled mentality and not show the importance of being kind to others and being thankful. (I know Iâve been there and been guilty of the same thing. And then shamed my kids for exhibiting those same qualities later on.) this video definitely open my eyes and I will definitely try to be more kind and considerate to you others and hopefully teach my kids to do that as well.

So, funny story. I'm from Colombia and a few years ago we had this commercials about disney where they showcased the castle as something gigantic and marvelous, that you can enter. I think what they did was put scenes from the Cinderella hotel, and make it look as if that was the clastle. Lots of friends of mine that have gone to the park have told me that they have like childhood dreams of visiting the clastle and all of it, and they have had they're dreams crushed by the time they actually went. XD Never been to magic kingdom myself, so I don't know how the clastle actually looks like.

As a mom of a five year old obsessed with Disney bubble wands haha we know the Mickey ones break so easy! My son begged for a buzz lightyear one on his 5th birthday a few weeks ago and I got him one with one of his gift cards, he loves it and it works better than all the others. (Lights only part broke already) They sure do charge a lot for these cheaply made bubble wands haha gotta love our babies though and how happy bubbles make them. Thanks for the stories!
